Урок английского языка по теме «Экология»:

Тема: The Urgent problem of the world – the problem of Ecology.

Форма урока: Урок- конференция.

Цель:

Выявить основные проблемы экологии, дать учащимся возможность высказать своё мнение по данной теме, используя свои умения и навыки английского языка.

Показать единство наций и народностей в решении экологической проблемы.

Задачи урока:

Обучающая: обобщить знания учащихся об экологических проблемах, показав их взаимосвязь и взаимообусловленность, показать разные точки зрения на пути и средства разрешения этих проблем.

Развивающая: через импровизированный урок, способствовать дальнейшем развитию у учащихся умений и навыков говорения на английском языке, снижению языкового барьера при общения.

Воспитательная: воспитывать у учащихся любовь к окружающему их миру, чувство ответственности и заботы об этом мире.

Оборудование. Таблицы слов, тематические плакаты, эмблемы конференции.

Дорогие друзья, уважаемые гости! Сегодня наш урок пройдёт не традиционно, сегодня мы будем присутствовать на импровизированной конференции, посвященной одной из актуальных проблем человечества – Экологии.

На этой конференции мы услышим слова, которые на разных языках звучат по-разному, но имеют общий смысл:

По-русски – экология, по-английски Ecology- Ecology

Мусор – Litter – der Kleeff

Вода – Water – das Wasser

Яд – poison – das Wasser

Загрязнять – to pollute- verschmutzen

Но все их используем в любом из этих языков, когда говорим о такой проблеме, как загрязнение окружающей среды. И сегодня на нашей конференции мы постараемся не только выявлять основные проблемы экологии, но и предложить решения некоторых из них.

-Good morning dear friends!

I’ve gathered you together, because the situation of nature is very dramatic.

Nowadays people understand how important it is to solve their environеmental problems that endanger not only people’s life but everything a live in the world.

-Plants, Animals, Birds, but they don’t know what they must do. That’s why I suggest organizing the international ecological conference. Any suggestions? Are you agreeing with me?

-Koulikova: First, we must ring to other countries or invite the members of ecological organizations to take part in this conference.

Pavel Malish: I agree with this proposal. I’ll charge to ring to other countries my secretary. Thanks a lot everybody.

Hello. Ecological committee from Armenia. What can I do for you?

Miss Koulikova: I’d like to speak to Mr. Parhomenko.

Mr. Parhomenko Speaking.

Miss Koulikova: Mr. Parhomenko this is Miss Koulikova – the secretary of the central ecological committee. Let me invite you to take part in the international ecological conference. Have you any ecological problems in your country?

Mr. Parhomenko Of course we have. The main one is the problem f the air. And I want to discuss it at the conference.

Miss Koulikova: I’d like to speak to Mr. Litovka

Miss Koulikova: Mr. Litovka, this is Miss Koulikova - the secretary of the central ecological committee. I want to invite you to the international ecological conference.

Mr. Litovka Thanks a lot. It’s time to gather together and discuss the main problems of ecology. As for our country, we have some ecological problems too; see at the conference.

Miss Koulikova: I’d like to speak to Mister Uvarov.

Mister Uvarov Speaking

Miss Koulikova: Mister Uvarov this is Miss Koulikova the secretary of the central committee. I’d like to invite you to take part in the international ecological conference. Do you want to discuss any ecological problems?

Mister Uvarov Most of all I want to discuss the problem of the pollution of the water. Thank you for invitation.

Miss Koulikova:I’d like to speak to Mr Dima Kirichenko

Mr Dima Kirichenko Speaking.

Miss Koulikova: Mr Dima Kirichenko this is Miss Koulikova – the secretary of the central ecological committee. Let me invite you to take part in international ecological conference. Have you any ecological problems in your country?

Mr Dima Kirichenko Of course we have. The main one is the problem of the litter. And I want to discuss it at the conference.

Miss Koulikova: Good. See at the conference

Attention! Attention! Attention! All members of the conference are asked to take their places.

Miss Koulikova: Good morning dear friends, guests! My name is Koulikova. I am a secretary of our conference, let me begin our work. It is very interesting to know that about two harmonies with nature because industry was not much redeveloped. But now the situation is quite different. There are a lot of problem facing people on the planet Earth nowadays. The most urgent problems is an ecological one.

Interrelations between man and the biosphere are complex. As like any other living organism depends for his life on what the biosphere provides: water, oxygen, food, shelter. On the other hand all sorts of human activity make the environment unhealthy. Let’s consider some if main problems of ecology.

Pavel Malish: Let me introduce you Mr. Parhomenko. He is an expert in automotive industry. He is from Armenia.

Mr. Parhomenko: Dear friends! I think that one of the main ecological problems is the problem of the air. Car engines burn gasoline, factories. The biggest problem is ozone formed from hydro carbons and nitrogen oxides. Ozone can age our lungs, making us more susceptible to dangerous diseases including cancer. Cars are the world’s biggest air polluters our scientists are trying to invent cars that pollute less.

Pavel Malish: -Can you suggest any examples of ecological safe technology?

Mr. Parhomenko Yes, cars and power stations can work on the sun batteries. And besides there are electric minions being used in some foreign countries.

Pavel Malish: - what is your proposal to make their cleaner?

Mr. Parhomenko: we suggest using good filters in cars and busses.

Pavel Malish: Thank you Mr. Parhomenko. And now I introduce to you Mister Uvarov. He came from Georgia. He is an expert in chemical industry.

Mister Uvarov: Dear friends: I am going to speak with you about pollution the water. Chemicals factories around the world. When the sulfates mix with cloud- acid rain falls and harms lakes, rivers and plant and the creatures that need them so in this way we cause the pollution. You may ask me how we suggest stopping the pollution of the water. Yes. We are going to get more energy from the sun and the wind, because it is clean a renewable, it means well never run out of it. Pavel Malish: Mister Uvarov, how do you think what must directors of factories do to prevent the pollution of the water?

Mister Uvarov: I think they must install purification equipment in factories and plants.

Pavel Malish: Thank you Mister Uvarov your proposals are very interesting. We shall discuss it after the conference. So, dear friends we have listened to some of main problems in ecology, that’s not all, their list so much bigger.

Pavel Malish: I want to invite to take part in our conference Mr. Litovka. He came from Ingushetia. He is an expert in food industry.

Mr. Litovka: As expert in food industry. I want to speak with you about positions in food. I think this problem is global. Farmer often sprays chemicals on crops to protect hem against pests. These chemicals are called pesticides. Scientists have found that pesticides often end up in our food. Pesticides are very dangerous, because they can cause health problems – especial for kids. That’s why I am standing here. I as scientists all over the world find ways to protect crops without using many pesticides.

Pavel Malish: - Thank you Mr. Litovka. You see comrades how many ecological problems we have o our planet in reality. So time of our conference is coming to the end, but in my list I have one more speaker.

This is Mr Dima Kirichenko from Russia. He is an expert in town services.

Mr Dima Kirichenko: Dear friends, want to speak with you about such simple thing as litter. Where many people live together, litter may become a problem. Some people find it easier to drop a paper, a wrapper or a cigarette, than to look for a garbage can for it.

Litter on the ground or in the street makes the city look ugly.

Litter on the beach spoils the view.

The wind blows scraps of paper far away.

Empty bottles and cans go under one’s feet.

Litter is not only dangerous but it is annoying.

Pavel Malish: - Why o you think that liter is dangerous?

Mr Dima Kirichenko: Well, look at this plate and everything must be clear for you. If we would not care of our planet, soon it will become indigo landfill.

Pavel Malish: And what is your proposal?

Mr Dima Kirichenko: we suggest recycling the litter, because I think that recycling can help the environment. Besides we suggest organizing the groups of volunteers to clean our beautiful nature from the litter, to organize the actions.

Pavel Malish: Thank you mu dear friends for your speeches.

You see comrades; the ecological situation all over the world is very serious. At our conference we have defied the most serious problems of ecology.

Итак, дорогие друзья, закончилась наша импровизированная конференция и прежде чем мы подведём итоги нашей работы, давайте ещё раз назовём основные проблемы экологии:

- загрязнение воздуха

- кислотные дожди, загрязнение водоёмов, лесов

- пестициды в продуктах

- бытовой и промышленный мусор

Мы живём с вами в городе, где нет больших промышленных предприятий, но как вы думаете, существуют ли экологические проблемы в нём?

(учащиеся дают ответы)

- А как вы считаете, что каждый из вас может сделать для улучшения экологической ситуации нашего города?

- И ещё один вопрос. Вы программисты, как вы считаете, должна ли вас волновать данная проблема? Почему?
