Конспект урока английского языка в 5-ом классе

Тема: “Weather”.

Вид урока: урок формирования и совершенствования умений и навыков.

Тип урока: комбинированно-речевой.

Цели и задачи:

Образовательные: расширить знания о разнообразии погодных условий в разное время года.

Практические: повторение лексики по теме «Времена года. Погода»,закрепление лексики типовых высказываний

(безличные предложения), развитие навыка устной речи, развитие навыка чтения.

Развивающие: развивать память, внимание, языковую догадку.

Воспитательные: воспитать умение вежливого общения с людьми, воспитывать у учеников интерес, настойчивость в овладении знаниями, воспитать инициативность, воспитать самостоятельность.

Оборудование (оснащение урока)

Интерактивная доска, презентация; доска, мел; раздаточный материал для введения и тренировки новой изучаемой лексики;раздаточный материал для проведения фонетической зарядки; учебник.

-Thank you. So, today we will to start our new topic “Weather”. You will learn how to express your own opinion about the weather; we will also revise names of seasons and months. And today you will work with a smart-board and do some exercises with a help of it. But now let’s start with the rhyme. Let’s work on sounds (W and TH). There are cards on your desks. At first I will read this rhyme and then you will repeat after me.

Very well. Now please open your Student’s books at page 86. Let’s do exercise 1b. First of all we should read the phrases, please take cards and repeat after me

Look at these pictures and tell me what are the people in each picture doing?

Now we will do exercise 2. The task is to match the sentences to the pictures.

-Thank you. Let’s do exercise 7at page 87. Your task is to act out a short telephone conversation and discuss the international weather forecast. Imagine you are in different parts of the world. There are cards on your table they also can help you to make a short dialogue. You can see a table which consists of 4 columns. They are city, weather, positive response and negative response. You should choose only one phrase or word from each column to make a dialogue and ask your partner about the weather in the city he or she situated in. Please look at the example which is at the page 87 and read it.

It’s awful. It rains all the time.
