“Искусство Великобритании”

 

Внеклассная работа по иностранному языку способствует расширению кругозора учащихся, повышению их интереса к изучению иностранного языка, развитию разговорных навыков, увеличению словарного запаса.

Когда дети играют в пьесе, исполняют песни, танцы, декламируют стихотворения, участвуют в конкурсах, все это содействует углублению языковых знаний.

Эффективность внеклассной работы по иностранному языку во многом определяется соответствием ее содержания, форм и методов этапам изучения иностранного языка и психофизиологическими особенностями учащихся.

Любимыми видами внеклассной работы по иностранному языку в 5-6 классах являются выразительное чтение стихов, считалок, разучивание и исполнение песен на изучаемом языке, драматизация диалогов и сказок, проведение различных игр, соревнований команд.

Предлагаю вашему вниманию сценарий одного из тематических вечеров на английском языке, посвященный теме «Искусство Великобритании».

Ведущий 1: Good day, dear boys and girls, parents and teachers. 

Ведущий 2:Добрый день, дорогие мальчики и девочки, родители и учителя.

Ведущий 1: Dear friends! Today’s English Party is devoted to the Art in Great Britain. This is a country of natural contrasts - moorlands and blue lakes, steep cliffs of the west coast and green valleys of Wales. The arts in Britain are flourishing. This is the birthplace of the great Shakespeare, the legendary Robin Hood and the famous Liverpool four “The Beatles” - which is known throughout the world.

Ведущий 1: Today we are going to get acquainted with different forms of art of this beautiful country. We’ll start with music. Music has always fascinated people. It touches their hearts and makes them laugh or cry. Music can be heard everywhere. There are a lot of musical performers of Great Britain. They are known all over the world: Freddie Mercury, Robbie Williams, John Lennon, Sting, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, Arctic Monkeys, Alt-J,  Jessie J and others. And I offer you to listen to the song of the famous Liverpool four “The Beatles” «Yellow submarine»,.performed by our pupils.

Ведущий 1:   Painting is an important form in the visual art. There are over 900 museums and art galleries in Britain and art exhibitions are shown all over the country. The history of British painting is linked with the broader traditions of European painting. Kings and queens commissioned portraits from German, Dutch, and Flemish artists. The late 18th century saw a growing interest in landscape painting. One of the main object of painting was an animal. Now I want to see how well you draw. Take part in our painting competition.

(Вызываются желающие на сцену, в глубине которой стоят мольберты. 5-10 участников в течение 30 минут соревнуются в номинации «Я рисую животный мир»)

Story-teller: One morning the Cock went for a walk in the forest. He saw a very big tree, so he flew up and sat in it. The Fox was in the forest too. He came up to the tree and saw the Cock in it.

Fox (to himself): Oh, that Cock will be a very nice breakfast for me. (He turns to the Cock.) Good morning, dear friend. How are you?

Cock: I’m very well, thank you.

Fox: Do you know that all the animals are friends now? The dog and the cat are friends. The cat and the mouse are friends, too. And the birds and the fox; we are friends now.

Cock: That’s good. That’s very, very good indeed.

Fox: As we are all friends now, will you come to my house? You will have a tasty breakfast, I promise you.

Cock: Thank you very much; that’s very kind of you. (He turns to the right.) Oh, I say! Look over there! That’s a dog! It is coming here. Dogs like tasty breakfast, too. Ask the dog to come to your house for breakfast. Don’t you think that’s a good idea, Fox?

Fox (greatly frightened): A dog? You say a dog is coming? Then good-bye. I am going. My breakfast will be ready now, and I’m hungry.

Cock(laughs): Dear Fox, dear Fox, where are you going? Don’t go. I want to come down and have breakfast with you. All the animals are friends now, you say.

Fox (turns to the audience): Yes, all the animals are friends now, but does that dog know it?

(The Fox runs away)

Ведущий 1: Now, children let’s have a race which we’ll call “Turtles can run fast” (игра со зрителями) One pupil from each team (class) will take part in this race. Here I have 5 sacks. Now each of you take a sack and get into it. Stand in a row, and when I say “Go”, you must run in your sacks to where I will stand. Now, one, two, three! Go! (победитель получает приз)

Ведущий 1:The greatest form of art is literature, which represents the culture and tradition of a language and people. The British literature is very rich, including poetry, prose and drama. The world knows bright representatives of the English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish literature, such as: George Bernard Shaw,Charles Dickens,Arthur Conan Doyle,Charlotte Brontë,Daniel Defoe,Lewis Carroll,Oscar Wilde and others.

And the rhyme is one of the best known in the English language. Humpty Dumpty has become a highly popular nursery rhyme character.

Ведущий 1: Some historical facts.Two of the most popular theories link Humpty Dumpty to two separate historical events. The first is the Fall of Colchester. During the English Civil War in 1648, the town of Colchester was under siege [siːʤ]. Supposedly, a man named Jack Thompson was stationed on the walls with a cannon nicknamed “Humpty Dumpty.”  The cannon eventually fell down. The cannon was so heavy, the dozens of men who attempted to lift it back to its place on the wall were unable to do so. “ All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again”. Colchester was forced to open its gates and surrender.

The other popular theory is that Humpty Dumpty represented King Richard III. In 1485, Richard III fought at the Battle of Bosworth. The king fell off his horse and lost the war.
