ANDROCLES AND THE LION

 

Narrator

Once upon a time in Rome a slave named Androcles ran away from his master and hid in the forest

Narrator

A very big and very strong lion lived on a mountain ,Every night the Lion came down to the river and drank some water

Narrator

On that evening the LION felt into the thorny bush

Narrator

The Lion roared sadly, AND SUDDENLY saw a man

Narrator

The lion held out its paw ,it was covered with blood

Narrator

The lion did not eat Androcles but brought him a young deer

Narrator

One day his master went to the emperor

Narrator

Soon the guard found Androcles and with the lion they took them to Rome to the Emperor

Narrator

When the day came Androcles was left alone with the lion

Narrator

The lion was dancing and licking his friend .And the Emperor was shocked

Narrator

The Emperor called the slave

Narrator

This is the end of the story

Lion

Oh,I am thirsty.I want to drink some water. How dark it is here

Lion

Ouch,I have a thorn in my paw.It hurts me

Lion

Kind man ,don’t be afraid can you help me?Look at my paw

Lion

This cow is for you.Lets eat it together

Lion

Oh,my friend,I AM SO HAPPY, YOU ARE ALIVE

Lion

THANK YOU

Androcles

Oh, I will stay here in the forest.I am safe here

Androcles

Oh ,my god,a lion,it would eat me

Androcles

Yea,I can help you .But ,be quick, my master is looking for me

Androcles

My dear lion, I will pull the thorn out

Androcles

Help me

Androcles

Your highness,we are friends I have helped the lion at the river

Androcles

Good day ,your HIGHNESS, I HAVE COME HERE TO ASKYOUR MEN TO HELP ME

MY slave by name Androcles has run away and I cant find him

Guards ,come here Go to the forest and find the slave Androcles. Bring him to me

PUT him into the prison.And then he will be eaten by the lion in front of the public

The Emperor

How can it be.The hungry lion does not eat the man

The Emperor

Why didnt the lion eat you?What is the matter?

The Emperor

Guard, come here ,let the slave with the lion go to the mountain free
