It is Located in the south of the Russian region of Siberia, between Irkutsk region and the Buryat Republic.

It is the deepest lake, the largest volume of fresh water( 20% of world reserves).

Scientists estimated that more than 1500 life forms live in and around this lake.

Lake Baikal keeps attracting tourists from all over the world.
