Some Grammar with Cinderella

Once upon a time there (be) a beautiful girl named Cinderella. She was so kind that even (мыши) and the birds (be) her friends. Each morning the birds (wake) her from her sweet dreams with their songs.

Cinderella (live) with her cruel stepmother and her two stepsisters. She (work) for them. She (cook), (wash) and (make) dresses.

One day a royal messenger (come) to the house and (bring) a letter from the King. The King was giving a Royal Ball (Королевский Бал) for the Prince that night. He (invite) every girl. Cinderella (want) to come too. Her stepsisters (laugh).

Her stepmother told her to wash the (пол), dust the drapes, clean the (окна) and fix the dress.

The stepsisters (go) to the ball with their mother.

Suddenly (вдруг) an old woman appeared (появилась). The woman was Cinderella’s fairy godmother! She (want) to help a poor girl. She (wave) her wand (палочка).

Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! Four (мышки) (become) four white (кони), a pumpkin (turn) into a golden coach, a horse (become) the coachman, and a dog – the footman.

The girl (look) wonderful. But the magic will end at midnight.

Cinderella (dance) with the Prince. Then they (walk) in the garden and (talk) a lot. But at midnight she quickly (run) away. She (lose) one of her glass shoe.

Cinderella’s stepsisters tried to wear the shoe. But their (ноги) were too big. But this shoe (fit) Cinderella perfectly (идеально).

Cinderella and the Prince were soon (вскоре) married. They (live) long and happily. Everybody (like) them.
