Defenders of the Fatherland

Defense of the Motherland is considered a sacred duty of human at all times. Who is the real defender of the Motherland? These are people who stand in defense of their Motherland, the peace and safety of its citizens. They have their own holiday, which is celebrated on February 23rd. A true defender of the Motherland is one who respects elders, protects the weak, monitors fair order in society, and does good deeds without expecting rewards for it.

The title of Defenders of the Fatherland rightfully belongs to those people who stood up to defend the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. As we know, these were mostly men. I believe that men are not only true defenders of the Motherland throughout the centuries, but also throughout their lives they are support and protection for family and loved ones. I believe that without them our society would not exist, since they are the ones who make our lives safer. Without them there would be no normal families, no equal society, no organized life.

The Great Patriotic War entered every family. Many did not return home, but their memory will last forever.

I want to talk about a person who makes our family proud. This is my great grandfather's cousin. Oganesyan Vladimir Eseevich. Since June 1941, he was in the ranks of the Red Army. He was awarded a medal for the defense of the Soviet Arctic. During his service, he visited 4 fronts, and defended the Fatherland to the end. Oganesyan showed himself to be a brave and decisive officer. Without fear, he himself, with a machine gun in his hands, repelled the attacks of the Germans, but at the same time did not have any injuries, all this is confirmed by the document. Therefore, I believe that Confidence and courage were very important in the character of every man, because our country will always be under their protection.

We should be proud of all those who fearlessly defended their Fatherland, thinking about the future of their people
