Essay Pegotty "David Copperfield"

Charles Dickens is one of the most famous English writers of the 19th century. His novel "David Copperfield" is considered one of the best works of world literature. In this book, the author tells about the life of a boy named David, his growing up, trials and encounters with different people. One of the important characters in the novel is Miss Pegotty, a kind maid who has been by David's side from the very beginning and has become a true friend to him.

Miss Pegotty has many positive qualities. She is very kind, caring and devoted. She also takes great care of little David: she sews clothes for him, cooks food, tells him stories, hugs and comforts him when he feels bad. She is like the epitome of a kind aunt who is always there and always ready to help. Her warmth and involvement make her one of the brightest and most positive characters in the novel.

But despite all the advantages, Miss Pegotty has some disadvantages. Sometimes she can be overly simple and naive. She doesn't always understand what's going on around her and trusts people who don't deserve it. In addition, she can be too emotional and prone to excessive excitement, especially when it comes to people close to her.

I treat Miss Pegotty with great sympathy and respect. Her kindness and dedication make her a truly beloved character. Despite her simplicity and imperfection, she remains an example of sincerity, warmth and humanity. There are not many people like Miss Pegotti, and they are the ones who make the world a better place.
