Introduction: Open lesson with simple questions. Ask students "Do they have Present Perfect Tense in their native language" or "Why do we need Present Perfect Tense" and let them discuss it.(2 minutes)
Warmer: "Rate your week". This warmer will help them to remember using of the Past Simple tense. Ask your students to rate their week on a scale of one to ten, where one is bad, five is ordinary and ten is fabulous. Then ask them to discuss it in pairs: "What did they make to choose all ten or five, etc."(10 minutes)
Presentation: Remind your students rules of using Past Simple tense. Then you should explain the difference between past simple and present perfect clearly. The present perfect is used for actions that began in the past that have a connection to the present and the past simple is used for actions that have begun and ended in the past. The main difference between the two tenses is that while the present perfect has a connection to the present the past simple does not.
We use Past Simple:
to talk about action finished in the past
to talk about series of completed actions in the past

We use Present Perfect:
Signal words: just, yet, never, already, ever, so far, up to now, since, recently, for.
Present Perfect is always connected in some way to the present moment in time in English. A lot of languages (for example: Italian, Spanish, German and French) use the present perfect for past happenings. The Present Perfect tense in English spans what happens to the present moment in time from a past moment. Adjustment this communication in mind of students early can help students avoid errors. It helps to share usage into three basic groups: 1. From the past until now: I have lived in Los Angeles for fifteen years. 2. Life experience: I have attended many republic in my country. 3. Recent past events that influence the present moment: I have just had dinner. (15 m)
Practice:
«Find someone who...». This activity gives the students chance to practice the topic in a controlled way. They should read in pairs checking for understanding, partner helps with unknown words You should print for each student worksheets with questions. Students should get up and try to find someone who...(10 minutes)
Production:
Game “Most deprived”. This game gets your students moving while practicing the negative use of the present perfect. Arrange chairs facing into a circle for all but one of your students. That student stands in the middle and announces something he has never done using the present perfect. Anyone in the circle who has done that activity must get out of his or her seat and races to find a new seat. The person in the middle tries to sit in one of the empty seats as well. The person left standing after everyone else is sitting takes the next turn in the middle of the circle.(12 minutes)
Review: Ask your students to remember main differences between those tenses, their signal words and formation.
“Dear diary” - students have to write about what they did yesterday(use only Present Perfect or Past Simple)
Cooler: “Telling a story”(8 minutes)
Divide class into two groups and ask them to make a funny story about that picture (only in Past Simple and Present Perfect). Then they should to make a presentation to that story(use everything what they have around)(7 minutes)
