My favourite holiday Made by Matvey Smirnov

New Year New Year is my favourite holiday. I really love it! It starts at the 31st of December and ends at the 1st of January. This holiday is celebrating because of the beginning of the new year and the ending of previous (прошлого).

What do we do at New Year We cook tasty food, dress up in our nice costumes and exchanging our presents! We are having a very good time at t two days. This holiday is the best.

The action hero of the holiday The action hero of New Year is Santa Claus. His name has got different variations in different countries. In Russia he is Ded Moroz, in France he is Per Noel and in Spain he is Papa Noel. He has got a big white beard, a red and white warm suit and a big bag of presents for good children. He is very kind and he’s like a plushy toy – fat and warm. He gives children presents for telling a poem.

How do I celebrate New Year Our family is eating special food with some guests and drinking some drinks (not alcohol!). I’m having a good time by watching the fireworks and chat with my friends. When it is near 12 o’ clock, we go to the kitchen and waiting for 12 o’ clock. When it comes, we listen to Putin’s conversation. It is very important. Then we do nothing but eating and having a good time. I love New Year because of it. This is Putin and his | conversation. |
