My winter holidays ( Витчевская В. БД-21 )

How I spent my winter holidays. On New Year's Eve, I prepared a lot of gifts for the whole family; I gave my parents a homemade figurine of a green dragon, in honor of the symbol of the coming year. I approached the idea of ​​a gift for the New Year quite creatively, at first I couldn’t come up with an idea for a long time, but at the last moment the idea came to me that the coming year is the year of the Green Dragon, and I can make his figurine myself, because I really like to make something with my own hands, first I prepared a frame from wire, then I started modeling it from clay, and then I decorated it with paints and varnished it. In fact, this is quite painstaking work, but I really like to do things with my hands, and when I made this dragon, I thought about my family and it gave me new strength. In fact, for me, giving gifts is much more pleasant than receiving, because I give people my love and effort, and not just some thing. On the 29th, I came to my parents’ dacha, and we all packed gifts for the children together, the guests came up with a children’s party, and on December 31, in the afternoon, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden came to the children, held many different competitions and gave everyone gifts. I was preparing for the New Year by very carefully thinking through my image, and also helped my mother with cooking, and completely decorated the house. For the New Year itself, friends of our parents came to us, and for a couple of days we spent time together, played board games, ate salads, sang and danced. I spent the rest of the New Year holidays with friends, we also played board games and watched movies together because it was very cold outside. Winter holidays are actually a wonderful time, everything around is decorated with garlands and there is a truly magical atmosphere. In general, my holidays went pretty well, although they were not as eventful as the last ones, but I still liked them.

I spent the winter holidays very busy. 

On the night of December 31st to January 1st, my mother and I came to my uncle and his family. Together with them and friends, we saw off the old new year and celebrated the year 2024. There were 11 of us, we talked on various topics, made wishes and enjoyed our time together. At 5 a.m. we returned home , rested, and at 4 p.m. we went with relatives to my godmother in Tula. She lives in a private house with her husband, two dogs, and three cats. We were there until January 3, went for a walk, watched New Year's movies and played board games. On January 4, we spent time at my sister's house, playing with her, spending time with the family. I spent January 5th at home, tidying up, cooking and enjoying time with myself. I spent January 6th in the company of my friend. From January 7-8, my friend and I were at my house together, we were talking about the holidays, were discussing many topics. I also spent the evening of January 8th with my friend. On January 9th, I was at home and had a rest, and in the evening I went to the gym. January 10th was my sister's birthday, I congratulated her at night, and in the evening I went to the VDNKh skating rink with a friend. We were at the rink from 6 to 9 p.m. My friend is a professional hockey player and skates very well. As a child, I rarely went to the ice rink, so I don't know how to skate very well. He taught me different tricks and helped me even if I fell. There was also an ice concert "The Nutcracker" with Olympic champions in the main roles at VDNH. I spent the last day of the holidays, January 11, at home with my mother. 

I really remember these winter holidays, as I was able to spend time with the closest people.
