Раздаёт Register Cards (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 1)

Take your register cards and fill in some necessary information.

 While preparing for our travelling you will work together with our helpers. Meet them, please. Here they are: the Customs officer and the stewardesses. 

 You have already filled in your cards. Our Customs officer will check your register cards. And we are starting.

 Учащихся 5А класса встречают помощники из 6 класса и раздают  регистрационные бланки 

Заполняют регистрационные бланки, внося необходимую информацию.

 Учащиеся знакомятся с помощниками: таможенником и стюардессами.

Включение учащихся в режим работы. 

Развитие умений заполнения формуляров, бланков. 

Подготовка учащихся к формулированию целей урока, к этапу целеполагания. 

                  II. Этап актуализации знаний и пробного учебного действия. 

Now you start your work and the stewardess is ready to help you.

Стюардесса предлагает совершить видеоэкскурсию и  подводит учащихся к этапу формулирования целей урока.

3)    What attracts your attention most of all?

4)    Would you like to visit the place and to get some more information about it?

Well, try to guess what country we are going to.

You are right.

Today we are going to “visit” Great Britain.  We will try to make our trip more interesting and pleasant. Do you agree?

How can we do it? Surely, we should learn some facts about the country.

Далее стюардесса предлагает учащимся разделиться на группы.

Let’s make some groups. You have coloured badges. (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 3) Who has a red (yellow, green, violet, pink) badge)? Come with me.  

Отвечают на вопросы учителя, обращают особое внимание на те моменты в сюжете, которые привлекли их внимание и запомнились больше всего, отгадывают место путешествия,   определяют цель урока.

  Осознают, что им недостаточно  информации, которую они получили в видеосюжете, понимают, что им нужна дополнительная информация. 

Учащиеся делятся на группы в соответствии с цветом значка. В каждой из групп есть помощник (стюардесса). Стюардессы сигнализируют о выполнении задания, используя флажки.  

Look at the group of words. Some of them can help us to speak about travelling.  Pick up the words connected with travelling by plane and write them down. (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 4) 

 Изучают мозаику, выписывают слова по теме. Работают в группах, стюардессы выступают в роли консультантов.Хронометристы определяют, какая из групп выполняет задание первой.

Организует работу с буклетом с целью получения информации о стране. (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЯ 5 и 6)

                                 THE LAND AND THE PEOPLEOF GREAT BRITAIN

 The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland(the UK) is the official name of the state which is situated inthe British Isles. Itconsists of four countries which are England, Scotland, Walesand Northern Ireland. You can see them on the map. Their cap­itals are London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast.

The UK is an island state. The two main islands are GreatBritain andIreland. They are separated by the Irish Sea. There are also a lot of small islands in the British Isles especially in the north.

 England, Scotland and Wales are situated on the island of Great Britain. Northern Ireland and the independent Irish Republicare on the island of Ireland.

 The UK is separated from the continent by the EnglishChannel and the Straits of Dover. The nearest point to Europe isthe Straits of Dover. The UK is also washed by the AtlanticOcean in the north and the North Sea in the east.

Everyone who was born in Britain is British. People fromEngland are English. People from Scotland, Wales or NorthernIreland are not English. They are Scottish or Scots; Welsh andIrish. People from Scotland and Wales don't like it when theyare called English but they are British.

 More than 56 million people live in Britain. Many of themlive in big industrial cities like London. Manchester andLiverpool, for example, are big industrial cities in the centre of England. But foreigners are often surprised by the fact thatmuch of the land in Britain is open country. There are manylonely hills, quiet rivers, deep lakes and farmlands especiallyin the south of the country.

Everyone in Britain speaks English, but in some parts ofScotland and Wales people speak different languages as well.

    The Welsh are especially proud of their language. They like tospeak Welsh, to sing songs in Welsh and when you travel you can see road signs in Welsh all over Wales.

Everyone in the UK speaks English but they all speak it dif­ferently. A Scottish person has to listen carefully if he wantsto understand a Londoner or a Welsh person.

The flag of the United Kingdom is known asthe Union Jack. It is made up of three crosses: the cross ofSt.George (the patron saint of England), the cross ofSt.Andrew (the patron saint of Scotland) and the cross ofSt. Patrick (the patron saint of Ireland).

Now you have learnt some more facts about the UK. Could you answer the questions?

осмысливают содержание текста, углубляют знания по теме: узнают о географическом положении страны, о населяющих ее людях, языках, на которых они говорят, о национальном флаге страны. 

 Отвечают на вопросы учителя, находят необходимую информацию в тексте.

Развитие умений взаимодействия в группе, формирование умений адекватного использования речевых средств, определение основной и второстепенной задач.

 Формирование  умений выделять основные и второстепенные факты, развитие  навыков работы с текстом.

Развитие умений применять   полученную информацию, активизация  изученного страноведческого материала.

                              IV.  Этап работы с самопроверкой по эталону

Организует работу  с текстом, содержащим изученный материал в обобщенном виде, направленную на заполнение пропусков в нем и восстановление содержания. (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 10) 

Работают с текстом, содержащим пропуски, дополняют необходимую информацию, перерабатывая освоенный фактический материал по теме,контролируя правильность выполненного задания в интерактивном режиме.

Развитие умений  точного  использования изученной информации, умения применять полученные знания в новой ситуации.

Развитие умений оценивать результаты проделанной работы, осуществлять самоконтроль.

                                    V. Этап рефлексии деятельности на уроке.

Подводит итоги работы на уроке.

Our preparation for the trip is over. You have learnt interesting facts about the country and its people.

And now decide if you are ready for the trip. You are to choose red, yellow or green magnetsaccording to your decision:

1.     Green  (if you  are ready for the trip).

2.     Yellow (if you want to learn some more facts about the country).

3.     Red  (if you are not ready yet).

No put them on the blackboard in a proper place. (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 11)

Дает индивидуальное домашнее задание в зависимости от результатов самооценки. (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 12 и 13)

And now your home task:

1)    for those who have green magnets to

get ready to tell your classmates about Great Britain;

2)    for those who have yellow magnets to learn some more facts about the  country;

3)    for those who have red magnets to read the text about the country again and answer the questions on the  text.

 Оценивает работу на уроке каждой группы учащихся.

 Оценивают свою работу на уроке, определяют степень своей готовности к путешествию: достаточно ли они узнали о стране, чтобы отправиться в поездку. С этой целью учащиеся

используют магниты красного, желтого, зеленого цвета.  

Учащиеся получают индивидуальное домашнее задание в зависимости от результатов рефлексии. 

Учащиеся 6 класса (хронометристы) помогают подвести итоги по всем заданиям, выполненным на уроке.

Учащиеся получают оценки по результатам выполненных заданий и  сувениры от «авиакомпании». (ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 14 и 15)
