In today’s modern high-tech society and with 24-hour access to the Internet, it is not surprise that more people prefer e-learning. However, there are arguments for and against e-learning.

There is no doubt that e-learning has its advantages. First of all people do not have to be in a certain place at a certain time. They can choose when and for how long they want to study. And of course it is more convenient for people who cannot come to school. As a result they can save their time and money.

However there are some disadvantages of the e-learning. The first is feeling lonely studying at home. With e-learning there are fewer chances to meet other people and share your ideas with them. This communication is limited.

Furthermore e-learning depends on technologies very much. Unfortunately not everyone can afford high speed internet and good computer or smartphone.

In conclusion, I think that the use of the e-learning is a useful development. Unfortunately nor everyone can afford online learning. And teachers still play an important role nowadays.
