Озеро Шайтан: там, где свет и тьма смешались воедино.

The village of Okunevo is a rather mystical and energetically strong place in Russia, Omsk region. Each of its residents at least once saw a UFO, fell into space-time distortions, observed inexplicable flashes of light, and translucent human figures on the shore of Lake Shaitan. Humanity has always been attracted to mystical places. Lake Shaitan was no exception. The number of anomalous phenomena here is simply off the charts. Legend has it that in ancient times two warring tribes lived in this area. One worshiped the good god, and the second - the cruel Shaitan. One day, on the site of a lake, a battle took place between them that lasted all night. But by morning it turned out that Shaitan had confused the worshipers of the good god - and subsequently they fought among themselves. The victims were only from the tribe of the light god. A stream of women's tears from this tribe mixed with blood, filling the “cup” trampled during the battle. The earth could not stand it and collapsed. This is how Lake Shaitan was formed. The water in it looks black, like dark blood, but if you take it in your hands, it’s transparent. According to the same legend, the evil spirit Shaitan settled at the bottom of this lake. And to this day it inspires fear among residents and visitors. The legend may be an invention of local residents, but the anomalous phenomena occurring near the lake are obvious facts that scientists have been trying to unravel for decades. The first mystical phenomenon is inexplicable flashes of light arising from nowhere. In the same light, female translucent figures appear. According to local residents, they can still be seen in the forest or, even more creepy, near the windows of houses. The second anomaly is the troubles that happen on the way to the lake. In addition, on its territory all the equipment behaves very strangely and literally breaks down. For example, a mobile phone does not work, although a communications tower is located nearby. The third mystical phenomenon is space-time curvature. One day a group of tourists went through the forest to the lake (about an hour's walk), they walked for about seven hours, but did not see the lake, sensing something was wrong, the group decided to return - and after 20 minutes they found themselves at the place where they began their journey. One cannot fail to note the frighteningly bizarre appearance of the forest: the tops of the trees seem to be cut off, and the trunks are twisted as if they were plasticine. Residents claim that they themselves do not risk wandering through the forest on certain days - after all, they may not return. And they don’t go into the water, they don’t even catch fish in the lake. True, a brave diver with 4 years of experience, Anton Nazarov, was found. After diving into the water in 2008, he said what he saw and felt: “At the bottom of the lake there is a three-meter untouched layer of silt. The water temperature at depth reaches only plus 7 degrees. The only fish you can find in the lake are crucian carp. Bubbles and emissions of hydrogen sulfide rise from the bottom of the lake every now and then. It was scary to dive into the depths of such a mysterious body of water. In the muddy waters we had to use a flashlight. About 15 minutes into the dive, my equipment began to behave strangely, and I decided to rise to the surface. And yet...while under water , I repeatedly held my breath, as it seemed that someone nearby was making some sounds. It’s clear that I didn’t see anyone, but what the heck… There’s a lot of strange stuff…” Experts say that, despite frightening and dangerous incidents, on the shore of the lake you can restore strength and find peace, since the place is charged with strong energy. How such a gloomy place can give harmony and at the same time instill fear remains a mystery.
