Robert lee frost, who is he? Robert Lee Frost is American poet, one of the greatest poets in the history of the United States, four-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize.

Biography In his poems, Frost sought to reflect the problems of ordinary people's lives and the world around them. He accepted life with all its hardships, disappointments, succumbed to despondency, even despair, but in the end he always stood on the side of life. Frost composed his first poems at school age. He was the first student in the class, showed outstanding abilities in Latin and Greek, and published the first poem in the school newspaper. The outer canvas of Frost's poems throughout his career remained the rural realities of New England. The poet paints rural residents at their daily activities, which in his interpretation acquire a deep philosophical background. His favorite lyrical hero is a farmer from New Hampshire.

Achievements The main part of the poet's poetic heritage is a person's attitude to his environment, which appears incomprehensible and alien to man, and often poses a threat. The results of human activity are lost in the boundlessness and meaninglessness of the surrounding world. Frost believed that irony should be felt in any, the most tragic poems. His poetry was very popular and became a true classic. He was a four-time Pulitzer Prize winner and, even, for the first time in US history, spoke at the inauguration of US President John F. Kennedy, was a goodwill ambassador, his poems were included in school anthologies. For the United States, Frost was "more than a poet."
