Barista qualifications can be obtained by completing a training course with specialists, confirmation of qualification is a certificate that is issued after completing a full training cycle. It takes 2-7 days to get basic knowledge about coffee and practical skills in handling equipment. More in-depth training will take 10-15 days. In general, of course, the time depends on the level of the coach. At the end of the course, not every barista will become a first-class specialist, it is impossible to achieve such a goal in such a short time.
It seems that it is not difficult to characterize the work of a barista, you stand at the counter, take orders and make coffee, but in fact, everyone needs an approach, someone comes not only to have a cup of coffee, but also to find someone to talk to. I like this profession because it is chosen ”For the soul”. I think that baristas need fundamental knowledge of basic languages, because coffee is not a drink of a Russian nature, many nationalities like to drink coffee, and I believe that it should not be difficult for them to relax with a cup of coffee, and for baristas it will be good practice with foreign languages.
