London was founded by the Romans in 43 AD. It was called Londinium. London is one of the largest cities in the world. It is one of the oldest and the most interesting cities. London is built on the river Thames.

Heart of London is Trafalger Square In the center you see Nelson's Column. This monument celebrates the victory in the Battle of Trafalger.
