Roman Bozhkov. “The Bridge”
The author of the painting “The Bridge” is Roman Bozhkov. Artist Roman Bozhkov was born in the small town of Shebekino, Belgorod region in 1980. In 1993 he graduated from a children's art school, in 1999 he graduated from the Shebekino Vocational School with a degree in decorative artist. Now he lives and works in Belgorod with his family. His family and the beautiful landscapes of Belgorod inspire him to draw. He painted this painting “The Bridge” early in the morning. Walking near his house, he was immensely inspired by the sight of the sunrise and the old bridge leading into the unknown. Roman quickly went home to get canvas and paints and, at the first opportunity, began to capture the beauty he saw.
This painting “Bridge” at first glance depicts an ordinary old bridge, but as soon as you start to peer into the picture, you begin to see many beautiful and interesting elements, each of which has its own meaning and reflects a special mood. The painting depicts a previously foggy morning, overlooking a small lake with a bridge leading to a mysterious unknown hidden in the fog. The first rays of the sun thin out through the thick dark green trees and fall straight into the lake, from which the water acquires a sparkling yellow hue, and it seems that the lake is not filled with water, but with real gold. In the very center of the picture is that same ancient bridge, consisting of fragile boards and with broken railings, leading into the unknown. Around the lake on which this bridge stands, thick, tall grass of emerald green color grows. This picture has a beginning, but no end. Crossing the bridge, a narrow path of sand appears, leading into a thick, delicate pink fog. And only Roman Bozhkov knows the continuation of this road.
As soon as I saw this picture, I immediately felt peace, all my worries went away and my soul felt warm. This picture is filled with calm and silence. I immediately imagine how I’m sitting on this bridge, dipping my feet into the golden water and watching the beautiful sunrise. I really liked Roman Bozhkov’s painting “the bridge”, because what could be better than seeing the sunrise in a beautiful and cozy place, at the sight of which you immediately feel good and calm in your soul. This author has many more paintings, and all of them are filled with comfort.
