Russian is easier to learn than English
Some people think that it is a good idea. Because firstly, phonetic system. Russian has fewer sounds that maybe unfamiliar to speakers of other languages. For example, English has the sounds [θ], [w], which are not found in Russian. Secondly, pronunciation. Russian words are pronounced as they are written, which makes reading texts more predictable compared to English, where spelling often doesn’t match pronunciation. At the same time there are people who don’t think so. First, grammar. Russian has a complex system of cases (six cases), declensions and verb configurations. This requires some efforts to memorize a large number of rules and exceptions. Secondly, spelling. Although Russian words are written, the spelling rules include many exceptions and complex cases such as the spelling of prefixes suffixes and endings.
I agree with the second opinion. Because firstly, lexical features. The Russian language has many words that have several meanings depending on the context, which complicates the understanding of the text without a deep knowledge of the language. Secondly, complex syntactic constructions. The construction of sentences in the Russian language allows great freedom in word order, which sometimes makes it difficult to perceive the meaning when reading or listening to speech.
