Урок КВН по английскому языку в 7 классе "Enjoy English"

Цели:

1.     Развивать  языковые навыки и умения;

2.     Формировать  толерантное  отношение детей  друг к другу, развивать активность, чувство ответственности;

3.     Развивать интерес к изучаемому языку.

Задачи:

 - тренировать  фонетические  и  грамматические  навыки;

 - совершенствовать навыки  монологической речи;

 - актуализировать  навыки  диалогической  речи;

Ход  урока:

Оснащение урока:

  Проектор,  слайды с фотографиями и вопросами; карточки с буквами, карточки с русскими и английскими пословицами, карточки со словами и стихотворениями для физкультминутки, зеленые и желтые бумажные сердечки.

I. Организационный момент.

Dear friends! It’s nice to meet you at our funny competition Enjoy English!

You will have special tasks and you’ll get green and yellow hearts. At the end of our competition we’ll count these hearts. The team  which  has more hearts is the winner. But everybody will get a small prize!

II. Представление.

You had a home task to think about the names of your teams. What are they? Команды представляются, называют своих капитанов.

III.  Разминка. 

Командам  раздаются карточки с буквами английского алфавита.

At first let’s have a warming up. You’ll have 3 minutes to make up as many words as you can.

IV.  Показ слайдов - ответы на вопросы.

Now  look at the board. There are some pictures on it. Your task is to answer these questions.  ( См. Приложение)

V.  Пословицы.

 Englishmen have a lot of proverbs as Russian people have. Find out the Russian equivalents to English proverbs.

Учащимся предлагаются карточки с английскими и русскими пословицами.

Do you like to ride you should carry your bike

 Любишь кататься люби и саночки возить.

Business before pleasure

Делу время, потехе час

To have a friend you have to be a friend

Чтоб иметь друга нужно им быть.

As the workman, so is the work

Каков работник, такова и работа

Make the hay while the sun shines

Куй железо пока горячо

Health is better thаn wealth

 Здоровье за деньги не купишь

A man is known by the company he keeps

Скажи мне кто твой друг и я скажу кто ты

 У каждого свой конек

VI.  Прочти и покажи.

Now, let’s show your acting abilities. There are some cards with words. You don’t know what they are. One player takes the word and shows its meaning. And the members of his team have to guess it.

A teacher, a bee, fishing, a train, a monkey, a tree, a singer, skating. 

VII. Конкурс капитанов.

While our players are showing their acting abilities, the captains are doing their own tasks.   Give the plural form of the words:

One mouse - four_________

One child – three _________

One foot – two__________

One man – five___________

One box – many_________

One cherry – two__________

One pupil – ten_____________

One tooth -  six_____________

VII. Физкультминутка. 

Let’s have a rest. There are two small rhymes. One player read it. And other members of the team do exercises from the rhyme. 

I.                  Head, shoulders, knees and toes,

Knees and toes. 

          Head, shoulders, knees and toes,

          Knees and toes. 

          Eyes and ears and mouth and nose.

          Head, shoulders, knees and toes,

          Knees and toes. 

          Hands on your hips,

          Hands on your knees.

          Put them behind you

           If you please. 

II.               I can hop like a rabbit

           Hop, hop, hop.

          I can jump like a frog. 

          Jump, jump, jump.

          I can fly like a bird.

          Fly, fly, fly.

         I can run like a fox.

          Run, run, run.

          I can walk like a duck

         Walk, walk, walk.

          I can swim like a fish

          Swim, swim, swim.  

 VIII. Составление предложений. 

The last task. Make up these sentences by putting the words in the correct order and tell us about your teams.

Учащимся предлагаются карточки, с разобранными на слова предложениями.

1.our , this, team, is.

2. team, clever, our, is.

3. English, can, we, speak.

4. many, words, know, we, English.

5. English, it, is, very, to, important, know.

6. like, language, we, very, English, much. 

IX. Подведение итогов.  

В конце игры считается количество желтых и зеленых сердец, которые команды получали за каждое правильно выполненное задание.
