We have a box where you can put your valentines to your friends and sweethearts.

But why do we celebrate this holiday? Let us see how it was.

Выходит мальчик, одетый как священнослужитель:
-My name is valentine. I am a priest Roman Emperor Claudius II forbade young men to merry. The emperor thought single men made better soldiers. However, I can’t see it in this light. I think it is wrong to make people unhappy. A soldier who is happy fights not only for his emperor but also for his beloved. That is why I secretly marry young couples.
(на передний план выбегает пара влюбленных, и бросаются Валентину в ноги)

G: Please, padre, Valentine, help us!

V: We love each other very much, but nobody wants to marry us.

G: Tomorrow will be a battle and I am afraid that I see my darling for the last time I want to be her husband.

V: Please, padre, you are our last hope. My dear children of course, I shall marry you. My only wish is all of you to be happy.

Звучит фоновая музыка.

Валентин начинает благословение, но в этот момент врываются стражники и уводят священника.

Входит Купидон.

So a priest named Valentine disobeyed the emperor’s order and secretly married young couples. He was executed on February 14 about A.D. 269. In A.D. 496 Saint Pope Gelasius, I named February 14 as St. Valentine’s Pay. Moreover, today we have this romantic holiday when we can say each other how much we care and if not to say but at least to write.
