Цель: -развить умение общаться на английском языке, выражать свою точку зрения в диалогической и монологической речи, повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка
Орг.момент: 

Teacher: Hello everybody! Glad to see you! Today we are going to speak about English. I suppose all of you like to learn English. Am I right?

Pupils : Certainly. We all like English.

Yes. You are right.

Of course, we do.

Задание на развитие монологической речи "Как легко выучить иностранный язык?"

      Учащиеся  высказываются по теме,что помогает легче выучить английский язык,выражают своё мнение.

       1. I think that reading books in original helps to learn English.

       2. I believe that a good teacher and much work  helps to learn English.

       3. I suppose that listening English songs and watching films in original helps                                 to learn English.

       4. In my opinion talkting with native speakers  helps to learn English.

Игровая ситуация «Пусть говорят»

Учащиеся высказывают свое мнение по вопросу «Насколько важно знать английский язык в современном мире?» (развитие навыков коммуникативной компетенции) 

Teacher: So, what are your reasons for learning English?

Pupils: - I think English is very popular today. It is an international language.
English is the language of international business and economics.

Millions of people all over the world are learning English now. It is the language of international conferences.

English is the language of computers. 80 per cents of the world’s computer information is in English.

Nearly 75 per cents of the world’s letters and postcards are in English.

Such international professions as airline pilots and air traffic controllers require a working knowledge of English.

There are a lot of famous English, American, Canadian, Australian writers and poets. If you know English, you can read their works in the original.

Many young people learn English because it is the language of rock and pop music. Most of world known singers sing their songs in English.

English is the language of politicians. English along with French and German is spoken at their summit meetings.

Teacher: -I completely agree with you. Knowledge of English is very important and useful today. I hope , you will use English in your future. By the way, what about your future professions? Are they connected with English?

Pupils: - I want to be a teacher. I’d like to watch films and TV programmes in English. I want to know more about the world, about the other countries and people and to teach children .

 

My future profession is a doctor. Doctors and scientists try to answer the same questions all over the world. They find it easy to exchange their ideas in English. I should be informed of all news in medicine.

I want to be an interpreter. I shall need to speak to foreigners.

I want to become a computer programmer. As we know, the language of computers is English.

I’d like to be a hockey player. I want to take part in international competitions.

I want to be a businessman. English will help me in my work with foreign companies.

I shall become an engineer. I shall need to know new technologies and discoveries.

My dream is to become a journalist. Most international journalists have to know English, too. 

I want to be a pilot. English is called the language of the sky and the sea. Every pilot and ship’s captain must speak English to communicate with each other.
