Some facts about longevity Longevity—is a lifespan above average lifetime of different organism (plant, animal, human). The main and important factors, which influence on the life expectancy of a person are:  gender,  genetics, level of health, hygiene,  diet and quality of food, physical activity level, lifestyle  social environment.

Interesting facts: 1.Marriage is good for men's health, but it does not play important role for women. 2. People, who went to school early, at 6 years old, were at risk of early death. 3.People, who work much time, live longer, than those, who have rest and do nothing. 4.  Lifespan of children from divorced families, five years less than those who grew up in an intact family. 5.The factors such as alcoholism, smoking, overeating take 4 years of life.

Comparison of people’s age in different centuries Did you know that in 21 century average life expectancy of people is maximum, for all history of mankind?

Some pieces of advice about what we should do to prolong our life 1. Always follow a healthy diet 2. Exercise and be active. 3. Quit smoking. 4. Keep your cholesterol levels under control. 5. Do everything necessary to prevent diabetes. 6. Sleeping. The norm of our sleeping is 8 hours. 7. Drink plenty of water. 8. Smile and laugh. 9. Breathe clear air. 10. Love and forgive. 11. Be calm . 12. Be careful. 13. Drink green tea.  14. Eat nuts. 15. Eat apples

Examples of different people. Jeanne Louise Kalman Jeanne Louise  Kalman—the oldest person in the world. She was born on February 21, 1875 in Arles. Jeanne Louise Kalman lived 122 years old and 164 days. She died on August 4, 1997.

Statistics of life expectancy in Russia and other countries Average life expectancy in Russia in 1896 was 32 years, in the USSR in 1926— 44 years, in 1958 — 69 years, in 1971-70 years. Now Russia occupies 137th place in the world on the level of life expectancy (according to United Nations during the 2005-2010).

Why do we so lag behind the majority of the countries? Reasons: diseases of blood circulation system Accidents Poisoning Injuries Diseases of the respiratory organs. lack of the general culture which, includes: care about health and maintenance of body in the good physical form.

Conclusion In conclusion we can say that life expectancy of people is determined by several major factors, including their: way of life well-being cultural features ecology.
