Праздник алфавита

ABC Holiday

Данное мероприятие проводится после завершения изучения алфавита. Оно связано с предыдущими уроками лексическим материалом из раздела «Мир моих увлечений».

Класс: 2

Учитель: Мельникова Н. А.

Цель:  обобщить знания учащихся по теме “Мир моих увлечений ”, закрепить знания учащимися букв английского алфавита.

Задачи: 1. Закрепить лексику по теме «Мир моих увлечений» в игровой форме;

2. Развивать внимание, мышление, память;

3. Воспитывать у детей чувство взаимопомощи, умение работать в команде; поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка.

Оснащение: раздаточный материал, предметные картинки, алфавит, разрезной алфавит, магнитофон, компьютер, проектор, компьютерная презентация.

Ход мероприятия.

I.Орг. момент.

- Dear children! Today we are celebrating ABC Holiday .We are going to have an interesting lesson-competition. We have two teams. What will be your name? We’ll see who knows the topic “Toys. Animals” better. You will get points for every task. Your answers should be right, loud, and expressive. Good luck!

II.Представление алфавита.

-Now I'd like to see if all the letters of the English alphabet are here. You are welcome, letters! (Каждый ребенок рассказывает о своей букве) Сопровождается показом слайдов.

1. A is for apple. It is on a tree.

2. B is for ball.My ball is not small.

3. C is for cat.My cat is fat.My cat is sitting on the mat.

4. D is for dog. Its name is Jack.

5. E is for elephant as big as a house.

6. F is for flowers: red and blue? White and yellow too.

7. G is for green. Ang what is green? The grass is green, so nice and clean.

8. H is for horse.You ride a horse.

9. I is for ice-cream so good to eat.

10. J is for Jack. He is a boy.

11. K is for kitten. (Все исполняют песню “What have you got?” №67)

12. L is for lion.

13. M is for mother. She is so fine. You love your mother, and I love mine.

14. N is for nine. (Стихотворение “Two and four” №55)

15. O is for orange, the colour and the fruit.

16. P is for puppy.

17. Q is for questions. How are you? I’m fine, thank you. And you?

18. R is for robot.I like to play with robot.

19. S is for seesaw.I like to ride on a seesaw.

20. T is for teddy bear. (Стихотворение “Teddy Bear” №54)

21. U is for uncle.My uncle is from Russia.

22.V is for violets, those pretty spring flowers.

23. W is for winter when we skate and ski.

24. X is in fox. I see a fox in a little box.

25. Y is for yellow. I’ve got a yellow ball.

26. Z is for zebra. It lives at the Zoo.

Task 1. -Thanks a lot. Please sit down and let me see if you know the ABC. I want you to answer my questions about the alphabet.

Назови гласные, по написанию похожие на русские. (Aa, Ee, Oo)

В каких парах гласных букв большие и маленькие буквы похожи друг на друга? (Оо, Uu)

А какие из согласных похожи на русские? (B, Cc, H, Kk, Mm, Pp, T, Xx)

В каких парах согласных большие и маленькие буквы похожи? (Pp, Xx, Cc, Ss, Vv, Ww, Zz)

Назовите другое название алфавита (АВС или alphabet)

(1 point for each correct answer)

Task 2. -And do you know how to read the letters? Let’s check it. -Which letter is read as [r], [d], [k], [h], [kw], [w]? (Pupils name the letters and show them).

Task 3.And now game 3. Oh, but I have a serious problem. All the letters in my bag are mixed. Help me to put them in pairs: big and small. (Gives cards with letters to the participants, e. g. a A to join them together Aa)

Task 4. I think you are pretty tired. Let’s stand up and play the next game. Найти букву названного цвета и назвать её. –Find yellow….

Task 5. - The parts of the words are mixed. Help me to match the parts of the words. Then read them. (Каждая команда получает наборы слогов).

Kit-ten, pup-py, ro-bot, com-puter, sea-saw, merry-go-round, bicy-cle, hide-and-seek.

Task 6. –Name the toys. Look at the pictures. What is it?

(It’s a horse/bear/monkey/cow/giraffe/cat/kitten/dog/puppy).

Task 7. –What is the longest animal? Let’s do the snake from the words. Match the word and the picture. The quickest team is the winner. (1 point for each word)

Task 8. Please solve puzzles and read your sentences. (Командам даются зашифрованные предложения. Выигрывает та команда, которая быстрее расшифрует запись и правильно ее прочитает)

III. Исполнение песни.”The ABC”. №111.

-You are very smart and bright. You know everything. I am very sorry but it’s time to finish our holiday. And let’s do it with a merry song about English alphabet.

II.Подведение итогов мероприятия.

-I hope you enjoyed the holiday and now it’s time to listen to your results. Count your points. … is the winner! (Вручение грамоты).
