активизировать употребление в речи учащихся лексику по теме “Выбор профессии” через разные виды речевой деятельности: чтение, говорение, письмо;
– познакомить учащихся с новой лексикой по теме “Личностные качества” и с новыми современными профессиями, способствовать употреблению их в речи учащихся.

Развивающие цели:

развивать у учащихся умение анализировать свои личностные качества, применительно к данной профессии;
– способствовать развитию умения определять профессиональные качества личности.

Воспитательная цель:

способствовать воспитанию понимания у учащихся важности и необходимости реализации своих умений и способностей через выбранную профессию.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийные проектор, интерактивная доска, презентация урока, раздаточный материал.

I. Орг момент.


Good morning boys and girls. I`m glad to see you. First of all, please tell what date and day of the week is today?

Today we shall have an unusual lesson, as you see we have guests. Let’s greet them.

We shall start a very interesting and serious topic. So, let`s try to guess the title. Look at the screen, please.

 THE WORLD OF PROFESSIONS 


You`ll read and talk about different professions, about choosing profession for yourselves. We`ll do a lot of various activities which will develop your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. By the end of the lesson you`ll be able to use new words in discussing the profession.


II. Фонетическая разминка.


Firstly let`s warm up our tongues and repeat our tongue-twister.

A big black bug bit a big black bear and made a big black bear bleed blood.

Right you are, add here you can see some English sounds, let`s name them and then read the words…

III. Лексическая разминка.


The next task for you will be. You can see the descriptions of different jobs on the screen. We shall play the game “Guess”

1.   A person who plans new buildings and sees that they are built properly. (Architect)

2.   A person who is skilled at making and repairing wooden objects. (Carpenter)

3. A person whose business is to advise people about laws and to represent them in court .( Lawyer)

4. A person qualified to practice both medicine and surgery. (Physicist)

5. A man who serves passengers on a ship or plane. (Steward)

6. A person who makes garments (одежда) for men. (Tailor)

7. A person whose job is to weave cloth. (Weaver)


And then please look at the blackboard, you can see some pictures, but they were turned round. One of you will go to the blackboard and try to show the profession without telling a single word.


IV.Проверка домашнего задания.


So, your home task for today’s lesson was to give the definitions of words. On the screen you can see the pictures, please, give the definition of each profession.


Bricklayer- someone who makes walls with bricks

Teacher-a person who teaches somebody

Accountant- someone who can count well and keeps the money records of a business

Driver- a person who drives a car

Musician- a person who performs on a musical instrument, or who writes music

Singer-someone who sings

Photographer – a person who takes photographs, esp. as a business or an art.

Shop-assistant- person who serves customers in a shop


V.Активизация работы с новой лексикой.


There are a lot of classification of professions. Now we’ll classify them in 6 groups. Students listen to the definitions of each groups and think over about the examples of professions:



WE MAY DIVIDE THE PROFESSIONS IN 6 GROUPS

Clerical – the jobs are done in offices and deal with people or simple office machinery.

Scientific – the jobs that need a background of interest in one sort of science.

Practical – the biggest group of all, it depends on skills other than those needed in exams.

Outdoor – these jobs are easier to find in the country than in the town.

Creative – these jobs need flair, skill and lots of luck.

Social jobs are ones where you help other people.

And now you can see a sheets of papers on your desks, here you can see different professions, lets divide them according to the groups.

And now I want you to create your own dialogues. The theme is your future job, who are you going to be. I`ll give you 5 minutes.

And now listen to the dialogues and give the definitions of these professions. What kind of profession is it? What traits of character do we need to have.

Professions can be: prestigious, not prestigious, up-to-date, out-of-date, well-paid, low-paid, Intellectual/mental (умственная), manual (руками),  rare and widespread (широко распространенная).

Person must have: strength (сила),  responsibility (ответственность) , reliability (надежность) , creativity (творчество)  ,observation (внимание к деталям) ,patience (терпение) logical mind, kindness.


Questions:

You like to work quietly and concentrate on the task. You prefer to work on your own. One of these careers will suit you: laboratory technician, librarian, artist, bank clerk, hair-dresser, architect.

If your score is between 90-135

You like to be very busy. You like to be with people and you like organizing things for them. One of the following careers will suit you: travel agent, journalist, hotel manager, salesperson, fireman.

Материал хороший! Хотелось бы ознакомиться и с физминуткой.

Физкультминутки всегда разные, иногда даже спрашиваю на уроке какую именно хотят ученики! поэтому в конспекте не указала никакую! Ну вот,для примера, одна из них!
