During the May holidays, my family and I went to St. Petersburg. We went there from Moskovsky train station on swallow, our journey lasted about 6 hours, we arrived in St. Petersburg at 7 pm and went to our hotel along Nevsky Prospekt, it is very crowded. after that, we turned onto Sadovaya street, where there were few people and a lot of small old shops with various signs, which was very strange for the city center. then we turned onto Bank Avenue, where our hotel was located. There was a Kazan cathedral near our hotel, the first thing after we put our things down, we went to this cathedral. This is a very beautiful, monumental landmark. The beginning of our journey in St. Petersburg Further along the Griboyedov Canal, we reached the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. it is very similar to St. Basil's Cathedral.

Peterhof is a unique treasure of Russian cultural heritage. Millions of tourists come here to admire the splendor and grandeur of the Russian Baroque. And there is a lot to see: parks with artificial ponds, palaces, unique landscape compositions and, of course, fountains – it seems as if history itself has frozen the luxury of imperial masterpieces. It has frozen and continues to live. Peterhof Peterhof is located in the Leningrad region. we got to it by metro and taxi. Peterhof itself is very large, it will take at least a day to get around it on foot, so we took an open minibus tour, which took only 45 minutes Peterhof has been one of the wonders of the world since 2007

The metro in St. Petersburg differs from the Moscow metro, where tokens are still used for travel, and not paper cards as in the Moscow metro. there are old wagons there, and there are also closed-type stations The metro in St. Petersburg

Saint Isaac's Cathedral St. Isaac's Cathedral is an integral part of the architectural appearance of St. Petersburg. Along with the Bronze Horseman, the Peter and Paul Fortress and the Admiralty spire, it is one of the symbols of the city on the Neva. The construction of the temple is inextricably linked with the history of the city and reflects architectural, artistic and urban planning trends from the beginning of the XVIII to the first half of the XIX century.

Neva River and fireworks in honor of Victory Day on Palace Square The Neva River is one of the most beautiful and full—flowing rivers in Europe. About 40 rivers flow into Lake Ladoga, and the Neva is the only one flowing from it. Free-spirited and wayward, she emphasizes the beauty of St. Petersburg. Poems and songs are dedicated to her, she is also loved, like the majestic Petersburg itself. The fireworks last 10 minutes. The fireworks were very loud, the whole earth was shaking A lot of people gathered to see it; places near the bridge were occupied 2 hours before the fireworks
