Данная методическая разработка предназначена для текущего и рубежного контроля лексико-грамматических навыков и социокультурной осведомлённости учащихся по первому разделу УМК "Rainbow English" для 8 класса О.В. Афанасьевой, И.В. Михеевой. Каждый из предложенных 9 тестов может быть использован для осуществления текущего контроля по мере освоения материала. Все девять тестов или несколько (на усмотрение учителя) могут служить для более полного рубежного контроля после окончания изучения раздела. Каждый тест предполагает выбор только одного правильного варианта из трёх предложенных в задании. Инструкция выполнения теста дана на английском языке. В конце разработки находятся ключи и критерии оценивания к тесту.
