Урок- викторина по теме «Великобритания»

Разработала: Смирнова Наталья Петровна, учитель английского языка МБОУ «Тонкинская СШ».

Цель: закрепление имеющихся знаний в области английского языка посредством игровой ситуации.

Задачи:

Образовательная

- повысить познавательный интерес учащихся к языку через использование игровых моментов;

- закрепить умение употребления в речи разговорной речи;

- обучение навыкам восприятия на слух иностранных слов.

Развивающая

- развивать внимание и память учащихся;

- развивать умение работать в группе.

Воспитательная

- умение работать в сотрудничестве с другими;

- воспитывать уважительное отношение к другой культуре.

Учебные пособия:

Карточки с заданиями, презентация к уроку, мультимедийный проектор.

Предлагаемый урок составлен для обобщения изученного материала по теме: «Visiting Britain» (2 unit) в 6 классе по учебнику «Rainbow English» (Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В.) Урок - викторина позволяет систематизировать полученные знания, активизировать их в речи, а также создать непринужденную атмосферу общения на английском языке. В работе принимают участие 2 команды.

Ход урока

Организационный момент.

Teacher: Boys and girls, I’m very glad to see you here. We’ll organize a competition today. Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1st team?

1 “The crossword puzzle”

Teacher: So, the first task is to guess the name of our lesson. You should do the crossword puzzles and you’ll get the word for every team. These words will be the name of our lesson. (The right word is 1 point)

2 ) The second contest is “The best reader”

So, the name of our lesson is “Visiting Britain”. And now let’s read these words. (За каждое правильно прочитанное слово каждая команда получает балл). (Cлова написаны на карточке, каждый представитель команды должен прочитать по одному слову).
