Topic: Celebrating your birthday
Aim: By the end of the lesson students will be able to speak on the topic “Birthday”, read correctly and understand short texts with the use of lexical units on the topic.
Materials: a computer, speakers, interactive board, cards with words, student’s books.

Phonetic drills | Open your textbooks, page 71,ex.3, please. 1.Listen and read. 2.Listen, find the words and drag them in the table. | Ss say different words they already know. Practicing new vocabulary | Suggests changing the task a bit, ed some extra words. The Ss answer: -Rex has got…for his birthday. Then asks 2-3 Ss to tell their stories. -Who would like to tell us about your pet? | The Ss answer: -Yes/No… Some Ss tell their stories.
