Пояснительная записка

Итоговая контрольная работа для учащихся 8 класса (базовый уровень) проводится с целью оценки уровня овладения учащимися программного материала по английскому языку за курс 8 класса 2020-21 учебного года.

Данная контрольная работа составлена на основе авторской программы курса английского языка к УМК «Английский в фокусе» / “Spotlight” для 5-9 классов общеобразовательных учреждений – М.:ExpressPublishing: Просвещение, 2020. –под редакцией Ю.Е. Ваулиной, В. Эванс, Дж. Дули.

Использованы следующие методические пособия:

1.Контрольно-измерительные материалы к учебнику “Spotlight” для 8 классов. Английский язык. 8 класс/ Ю.Е. Ваулиной, В. Эванс, Дж. Дули,. М.:ExpressPublishing: Просвещение, 2020.

Структура работы отвечает цели построения системы дифференцированного обучения в современной школе, которое заключает следующие задачи:

- вооружить учащихся знаниями базовой науки, организовать деятельность обучающихся в данной сфере познания, привить им опыт решения лингвистических вопросов, умение оперировать понятиями, фактами, правилами, регулирующими условия выбора орфограмм и пунктограмм;

- формирование умений опознавать, анализировать, классифицировать языковые факты, оценивать их с точки зрения нормативности, соответствия ситуации и сфере общения.

Контрольная работа рассчитана на 25 минут и состоит из текста на чтение с извлечением конкретной информации и лексико-грамматического задания (14 пунктов).

Критерии оценивания: за каждый правильный ответ – 1 балл, итого – 20 баллов.


Оценивание работы проводится по следующей шкале:

20-17 баллов – отметка «5»;

16-11 баллов – отметка «4»;

10-6 баллов – отметка «3»;

6 и менее балов – отметка «2».

Шкала перевода баллов в отметку:

Менее 50% - «2»

50% - 69% - «3»

70% - 90% - «4»

91% - 100 – «5»

Joseph Simmons

Joseph Simmons is 13 years old and lives in London, England. He helps out at his local zoo once a week during the summer holidays. Joseph loves animals and when he leaves school he wants to be a vet. He also has many pets at home, including his dog, Sam.

Joseph thinks it is important to take care of animals and nature. “I also help out in my neighbourhood. At my local youth centre, we have programmes where we go around collecting rubbish and cleaning-up. Last month, I helped plant trees in the park”. As well as helping out at the zoo, Joseph also makes time to study and hang out with his friends. “I like playing tennis and going to the cinema with my best friend Jason”.

At the zoo, Joseph helps to feed the animals and clean out their cages. “There are some really good things about working at the zoo. I learn a lot about animals and I’ve made lots of friends who work there. I like meeting new people and telling them about the animals. When I am older, I would like to travel to Africa or South America and see the animals in the wild”.

Mark Smith

Mark is a 12-year-old boy from Oxford, England. He recently moved to Melbourne, Australia with his parents and his little sister Kim. They decided to move because Mark’s dad found a job there. They’ve been to Australia on holiday before, but have never stayed for more than 3 weeks. The move was a big adventure and Mark was nervous at first about going to school in a different country. “I hoped that I would make friends and wouldn’t find the lessons too difficult”. But it didn’t take him long to settle in. At the weekends, Mark goes surfing with his friends. Life to Mark isn’t too different from life in England. He goes to the cinema, meets his friends and plays football. The biggest difference in his life so far has been the weather. Unlike England, Australia has very sunny weather.

Mark doesn’t miss England but plans to visit it some time. ”When I leave school, I think I would like to go to university in England. Before then, I would also like to go and visit my family. My grandparents still live in the UK and I haven’t seen them in a while. I feel I am lucky because I have two places to call home”.
