Цели (образовательная, развивающая, воспитательная) учебного занятия:

1.2 формирование навыков чтения и произносительных навыков

1.3 знакомство с новым грамматическим явлением

2. 1 совершенствование мыслительных операций: синтеза, анализа, обобщения.

2.2 развитие творческого потенциала учащихся.

3. формирование познавательной активности.

Ход урока:

1.

Teacher: Hello, boys and girls! We continue talking about animals and organizations that help them. Sometimes we associate the animal with the certain trait of character. What comes into your head when you see the fox?

P1: It is cunning and clever.

Teacher: a dolphin?

P2: It is clever and friendly.

Teacher: a crocodile?

P3: It is angry, bad and always hungry.

(можно воспользоваться упражнением №22 стр 110)

Teacher: But if you were an animal, what animal you would like to be and why?

Teacher: Though if animals have got sharp teeth or they are strong and dangerous, they need our help and protection. Could you name the organizations that do a lot to protect animals?

(учащиеся называют Zoological Society of London и Greenpeace)

Teacher: Today we are going to find out one more name. Look at the board, there you can see some new words, let’s read them and translate.

(На доску вынесены следующие слова: lost, hurt, prevention, cruelty. Незнакомое для учащихся слово stray на доску не вынесено, т.к. учащиеся могут догадаться о его значении из предложения)

Please, take your papers and let’s read the first text and find the name of the organization:

British people love animals and they usually take good care of their pets. Sometimes people find a lost or hurt animal and they take it to the RSPCA – the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This organization finds new homes for about 80,000 stray animals every year.

(учащиеся называют the RSPCA)

Teacher: People who work there do not get money for their job – they are volunteers – and they are not only grown-ups, teenagers can help animals too. Let’s listen to the dialogue between Vicki, Mark and Bob and see what the children can do to help animals.

(прослушивание диалога, для слабых учащихся целесообразно положить распечатку с текстом)

Bob: Hi, Vicki! Have you seen all the stray dogs?

Vicki: Hello, Bob. Yes, I have. And I have chosen this brown and white puppy.

Bob: Yes, he’s sweet. His name’s Lucky.

Vicki: Oh, Bob, have you met my friend Mark?

Bob: No, I haven’t. Hello, Mark. Have you been there before?

Mark: Yes, I have. I came here last Wednesday and brought a stray cat. But I didn’t see you here.

Bob: Well, I only work at weekends. I’m a volunteer.

Vicki: Can I take Lucky home today?

Bob: Have you spoken to the vet?

Vicki: No, I haven’t. I went to his office ten minutes ago but he wasn’t there.

Bob: Perhaps, he’s gone to lunch. But I looked at Lucky’s record card this morning. He’s had all his injections so he’s ready to leave now.

Vicki: Oh, look! Lucky is licking my arm.

Mark: Perhaps, he is hungry.

Vicki: Have you fed him?

Bob: Of course! I fed and brushed him an hour ago. I think he likes you, Vicki. Lucky, you’ve found a new home so you are really lucky today.

Teacher: What can children do?

P1: They can feed animals

P2: They can brush them.

P3: They can bring stray animals into the office.

P4: They can take the animals their home.

Teacher: Ребята, мы с вами уже знаем, как рассказать о событиях прошлого, настоящего и будущего, а сегодня и на последующих уроках мы будем говорить о событиях, которые произошли в прошлом, но имеют отношение к настоящему. Помните, как несколько уроков назад мы «хвастались» тем, что побывали и наоборот «сожалели» о том, что не побывали где-то. Do you remember?

P1: I have been to London.

P2: I have been to China.

Teacher: Right you are! (выносит примеры учеников на доску) Посмотрите, действие произошло в прошлом, но как результат осталась память о поездке, фотографии, которые я могу показать – мне уже неважно, когда произошло событие, но важен результат. Такое явление и называется Present Perfect. Как выглядит сказуемое в Present Perfect? (указывает на записанные примеры) - вспомогательный глагол и причастие прошедшего времени – встречается ли данная конструкция в разговоре Вики, Марка и Боба?

(учащиеся находят примеры Present Perfect в диалоге и дают перевод этих предложений:

I have chosen, he’s gone to lunch, He’s had all his injections, you’ve found a new home )

Teacher: Причастие прошедшего времени каких глаголов использованы в данных предложениях?

(учащиеся вспоминают 3 формы неправильных глаголов)

P2: go – went – gone

Teacher: Let's do exercise 30 on page 113 and revise 3 forms of English verbs.

(учащиеся выполняют упражнение и вспоминают 3 формы глаголов, пользуясь таблицей неправильных глаголов)
