для учащихся 6 класса)
Тема урока: « Lucky strike»
Образовательная: расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся.
Развивающие: развитие познавательной активности и умения применять полученные знания в новой коммуникативной ситуации, развитие интеллектуальных способностей, формирование положительной мотивации к изучению английского языка.
Воспитательные: развитие интереса к культуре и традициям стран изучаемого языка, умения работать в команде.

LUCKY STRIKE
Good morning, boys and girls.
I am glad to see you. I hope everybody is ready to work. Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson.
What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? What season is it today?
Who is absent today?
My dear boys and girls! Welcome to the world of fairy tales. Do you like to read fairy-tales? All children like to read fairy-tales or to listen to them. I am sure it is interesting to meet your favourite fairy-tale characters.
At first show me please your mood!
Look on your desks please.
Everybody has got on your desk 3 figures of three colours. If your mood is bad today – show me please a blue triangle.
If your mood is not great – show me please a yellow square.
If your mood is very good – show me please a red circle.
Let’s go!
Today we are going to visit the magic world of Fairy Tales. During our lesson we will stop on different places where we could find some tasks. And you’ll be given a smiley for each correct answer.
First of all I’d like to tell you about one great man named Walt Disney. You know such film studio and channel. But it was a real man who started drawing cartoons many years ago. Today we learn some information about this great person.

Walt Disney’s World
I think you know the name of Walt Disney. Disney has created a lot of short cartoons and many longer films.
Walt Disney was born in Chicago on December 5, 1901. When Walt Disney grew up, he began to draw pictures and create cartoons, and one day he had an idea to make a mouse the main character of the cartoons.
He told his wife, Lilian, about this. He saw this mouse character as a funny friendly little thing, who could speak, dance and sing and who, in fact, could live like a man. «That’s a good idea,» Lilian said. «Call him Mickey». So that is what Disney called him.
Then came other characters: Donald Duck, Pluto, and many, many more. Some of them are bright, some are not, but all of them are usually kind and friendly.
Disney’s stories end happily. All his films are easy and nice to watch.

1) This character is very funny. He is fat but very nice. He enjoys to make up rhymes. He
likes honey but he doesn’t like bees. And… he’s a bear. (Whine-the-Pooh)
2) This is a very kind girl. She is very beautiful, much more beautiful then her
stepmother. That’s why she is sent to the forest. But the girl finds 7 friends there. They
are not very tall but so kind to her! (Snow White)
3) This man is the character of English folk rhymes. He is very fat. He is always hungry.
He can eat everything: bread and butter, cheese and meat, churches and people.

4) It’s the character of the American cartoon created by Walt Disney. He is very clever
but he always has a lot of problems with the cat. And by the way… It’s a mouse.

5) This is a boy. He has no parents. He is very talented and clever. He studies at the
magic school. He has got a lot of friends and they help him to fight against the angry
man. (Harry Potter)
6) She is a very kind and nice girl. She has got a father and a stepmother. Her stepsisters are angry and greedy. The girl has got a godmother, a fairy. This fairy gives her a very
beautiful dress and crystal shoes to go to the ball. But the girl loses one shoe.

This game is over and let's sum up the third game.
Now it’s time for game "Lost and Found".It’s the fourth time.
Look at the screen. You can see different things. The characters of different fairy-tales have lost them. Please, help them find them. Name these things and say whom they belong to.

Let's sum up the fourth game.
At last we came to the fifth game. Today we have a family of monsters as our guest. Your task is to listen and draw their portraits. The frames for your drawings are ready. Be attentive.
Mother Monster is small and yellow. Her face is square. She has got one green eye, a big red nose and two very small grey ears. Her mouse is big and blue. Her hair is black and straight. She has got short arms. Her legs are short and her feet are big. She has a red dress on.
Father Monster is big and grey. He has a nice triangle face and big eyes. One eye is square and red? The other eye is round and brown. His nose is small and orange. His legs are long and he has four arms. He has white trousers and a red shirt on.
Baby Monster is very small and very green. He has a square head, short brown hair, two blue eyes and a small mouth. His nose is long and green. His legs are small. His hands are small. He has white shorts on. He is lovely.
I'll take one drawing from each team now and let's see. Who wants one? And I'll take all the other drawings and check them, and that will be your listening grade, which I'll give you in the next lesson.
