Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку

«Путешествие вокруг света»

6 класс

Цель: обобщение, систематизация страноведческих знаний учащихся о странах изучаемого языка и других странах мира.

Задачи мероприятия:

Воспитательные:

воспитывать интерес к изучению предмета,

воспитывать уважение к культуре и традициям других народов,

воспитывать настойчивость и упорство в достижении цели,

воспитывать чувство уважения друг к другу.

         Развивающие:

развивать творческие способности учащихся,

развивать коммуникативно-игровые способности у учащихся,

развивать языковую догадку, смекалку,

развивать и тренировать внимание, память, мышление.

Образовательная:

обобщить и систематизировать страноведческие знания учащихся о странах изучаемого языка и других странах мира.

         Практическая:

развивать умения понимать иностранную речь на слух,

развивать лексико-грамматические навыки учащихся в рамках предложенной темы,

развивать умение находить выход в ситуациях случайного нахождения в незнакомой среде

     Вид мероприятия: внеклассное

Форма: игра-путешествие

Класс: 6

Оснащение:

   компьютер,

   интерактивная доска,

   проектор,

   СD диски с музыкой,

глобус, бумажный самолет, «магическая» книга – атлас для путешественников,

плакаты, рисунки, устойчивые фразы с лексикой страноведческого характера,

   раздаточный материал («билетики» на самолет, маркеры, бумага, звезды)

Подготовка:

создание презентации игры,

изготовление звезд для начисления баллов участникам,

оформление кабинета,

изготовление дипломов для победителей.     

Ход мероприятия “A trip around the world”

Организационный этап. Подготовка кабинета и приветствие участников

Класс украшен тематическими плакатами о зарубежных странах и рисунками о поездках за рубеж. В центре класса находится глобус и огромная, ярко оформленная книга-справочник по странам планеты.

На стенах помещения присутствуют также слова и выражения, часто употребляемые в переездах по различным странам земного шара (например, the weather, climate, plane, train, boat; Where are you from? Could you please tell me the way to the nearest bus stop is? How much is the train (taxi, plain, ship) ticket?)

Звучит музыка и на середину зала выходит ведущий (это может быть, как ученик класса, так и учитель, преподающий в классе английский язык).

T: Have a good day time, dear guests! Welcome you to our international travelers’ “Multicultural journey club”!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mr/Mrs. Travel. I make magic and help people to go to different countries and watch the life there.

Today I invite you to make a tour to… Do you already know the country we are going to visit today? Well… let’s see where our magic globe leads us to… (ведущий вращает глобус под музыку. Зрители застыли в ожидании. Они внезапно говорят STOP IT! И ведущий останавливает свой выбор на одной из стран земного шара).

T: Oh, that’s perfect! Have a look at the board. (Включается презентация с видами природы Тайланда.) It’s… (дети должны угадать страну) …Thailand!

T: Have you ever been to Thailand? Who visited it before?

(поднимают руки те дети, кто побывал ранее в Тайланде)

T: That’s great! But now let’s read what is written in my magic book about this country (ведущий достаёт из своей большой книги –справочника странички с фактами о месте расположения страны и раздает детям для прочтения вслух).

Students: - Well, tell us where the country is situated. (1-2 ученика отвечает об известном им месте расположения страны, зачитывая из розданных листков и продолжая рассказ друг друга).

(Примерные предложения учеников: Thailand is a country situated in the South Eastern part of Asia. It is washed by the Southern Chinese and the Adaman Sea. It is not a small country and it borders with Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia. The capital of the country is Bangkok, etc.)

После зачитывания фактов о географическом положении страны), ведущий продолжает:

T: Well, it was very interesting! Thank you, my dear friends!

Now let’s come up the first step of our trip. What do you need to do when you just start the trip? Where do people go to begin their journey?

(ответы учеников)

S1: To the bus or train station to buy tickets.

S2: Oh, look! (ученик поднимает палец вверх)! (Все поднимают головы вверх, где пролетает искусственно запущенный самолет). What is it?

S3: It is a plane.

T: It can take us to any place we need. Do you want to go by plane?

Students: Yes, we do!

T: But in this case you need to go to the airport to buy tickets. Or you can book it on line…

S1: (один ученик поднимает руку) Me, me! I have tickets in my pocket!

T: Perfect! We can fly now. Let’s go!

Объяснение правил игры. 

Дети заходят на самолет, сидят на стульях и подражая пассажирам самолета. Во время «полета» учитель объясняет ученикам несколько правил их урока-путешествия.

T.: Well, kids, let’s travel and play a game while travelling. For example, you are given a word. And you see the words on the board. You task is to find synonyms to these words. For example, the word “ticket”. And you find the words such as “paper, document, a piece of paper with information, ect. … Okay?

And you get a star for your correct answer. The more correct answers you give the more stars you get. And at the end of the trip we’ll see who the best expert is. And… he will get a star diploma of a real traveller! So, let’s go and play!

(звучит приятная музыка)

S2: Well, where are we now? Have a look friends, I see a lot of banana trees and palms. Let me guess… (дети озираются по сторонам)

S1: I see. We are in Thailand. A very warm country on the other pole side.

T: Who сan see anybody to tell us about this place? Is there any guide?

(«на выходе из самолета» группу встречает гид)

Guide: Hello! I can help? Where are you from?

T.+students: We are from Russia. Nice to meet you too!

Guide: I can tell you some facts about Thailand, my country and answer your questions.

T.: Well, kids, do you remember our game? We shall give synonyms to the words the guide asks us about. And get a pass-through ticket. Okay? So, the first word is “Country”. Do you know what “country” means? (на экране появляются слова синонимы к словам урока. Дети должны назвать наиболее подходящие из них к слову “country”. Например, place, land, location to stay…и получают соответствующие звёздочки.)

(обращаясь к гиду)

T.: What kind of country is it?

Guide: Well, Thailand is a kingdom. A king rules the country since 1782. The king dynasty is very respectful. He rules and governs everything and everyone in the country. People trust him completely! (приложение 2)

S6: That’s really interesting! What are the most “interesting” places of the country? (продололжается игра в синонимы: “interesting”- captivating, breathtaking, amusing, … )

Guide: There are a lot of temples and national parks in the country. Millions of tourists like this country for its warm weather in any season of the year. It is really perfect! Have a look here! (гид показывает презентацию: на слайдах изображены красивейшие виды Тайланда, его природа, водопады. люди страны –приложение 2).

T: Who wants to visit any place of the country?

(лес рук из детей, желающих попутешествовать по стране)

T: Okay, we shall go by boat to the most interesting place to see here – to the floating markets. It is a real adventure here for us, the Russian tourists. How much is the ticket?

Guide: It is 5 batt per one person.

Students: That’s great! Let’s go!

T: Look to the right, friends! Do you see those small houses and floating boats we are passing by? But what does it mean- floating markets? Who knows? What do they sell? (игра в синонимы: “floating markets” –floating down by water, going down the river, selling goods while moving slowly)

Guide: They sell really fresh food (“food”- fruit and vegetables, grass, coconut milk) and many goods for tourists. It is so unusual! (на экране идет показ фото плавучих рынков Тайланда- приложение 2)

T: Well, let’s go to one of the main temples of Thailand- the Saint Budda’s Temple (на экране фото храма с лежащим Буддой в центре зала).

Guide: Yes, there are a lot of temples in the country. And all of them are very “beautiful”

(“beautiful” - impressive, nice, cool, admiring…)

S2: By the way, what is lying on the floor? How long is this statue?

Guide: The Thais are Buddhists by religion. It is the statue of Budda, which is 13 meters long. Take off your shoes before you come inside!

S3: Why? What for?

Guide: People here always take off their shoes to show respect and politeness to the owner of the place. It is a rule here in Thailand. People here never argue. They are very “obedient” … (nice, polite, calm).

T: Oh, it is really perfect inside the temple! (детям проводят виртуальную экскурсию по храму Будды –приложение 3)

T:: Well, we need to go out already. Thank you dear guide!

Guide: You are more than welcome! I wish you a good journey! Bye!

Teacher and students: Bye-Bye!

T: We need to come back home, dear friends.

Подведение итогов игры-путешествия

Did you like out trip around the world?

Students: Yes, we did.

T: Why is it called “a trip around the world”, who knows?

S5: Because it is very far, on the other pole side.

T: Correct! What did you learn and know about this country? Let’s make a story of the country and read it from the board (приложение 4)

(на экране появляется рассказ с пропусками слов, которые дети должны вставить сами. Затем полученный рассказ зачитывается детьми вслух, и участники получают обещанные звездочки. После подсчитываются полученные звездочки и происходит награждение победителей игры- путешествия красочными дипломами)

T: I think you got much information about the country we visited today.

Thank you for this trip. Sure, everyone will get a mark: who worked a lot and took active part in the lesson will get excellent marks. They are… (называются имена самых активных учеников)

The others will get good marks: (имена)… Next time try to be more active and answer more often.
