Данный урок направлен на изучение достопримечательностей Лондона, формирование интереса у учащихся к предмету «Английский Язык», положительное отношение к учебе, к самостоятельной работе.

Планируемые результаты учащихся:

Личностные: знает лексику по теме «Достопримечательности»

владеет культурой поведения при общении

умеет выражать свое мнение

Метапредметные:

Коммуникативная: способен работать индивидуально, в паре, в группе

Регулятивная: способен сравнивать, анализировать и делать выводы

способен внимательно слушать и исправлять ошибки

Познавательная: способен привести свои примеры по предложенной модели при высказывании собственного мнения

Предметные: умеет употреблять лексику по теме

знает культурные места Лондона

умеет понимать на слух речь учителя, одноклассников, речь с фонозаписи в нормальном темпе, построенную на языковом материале с целью с извлечением конкретной информации (длительность звучания связных текстов — до 2—2,5 мин.);

понимает содержание простых предложений и умеет определять смысловые взаимоотношения между членами предложений; отвечает на вопросы кто? что? где

Задачи:

Практическая: Познакомить с достопримечательностями Лондона

Воспитательная: Воспитывать уважительное отношение к культуре другого народа, нации

Развивающая: Развивать основные познавательные процессы через серию упражнений в рамках уроках.

Предполагаемые трудности: трудность при изучении и употреблении лексики по теме

Решение: использование разных режимов работы и тренировочных упражнений для введения и тренировки.

Оснащение: презентация, компьютер, проектор

Оформление (Данный урок проводится в кабинете английского языка нашей школы, который представлен в стиле Англии, чтобы погрузить учащихся в атмосферу данной страны):

Карта Великобритании (Можно глобус)

Символика всех частей Великобритании: чертополох, кислица, красная роза, нарцисс.

Картинки с изображениями достопримечательностей Лондона, уличных достопримечательностей: телефонная будка, такси, двухэтажные автобусы, полицейские.

Good morning, boys and girls! I’m very glad to see you. Today I suggest you to travel around London. Answer my question: What can you associate when you hear the word “London”
Of course it is the capital of Great Britain. But before we start our travelling let’s learn the poem

We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33, 000 feet at an airspeed of 400 miles per hour. The time of our flight  lasts 4 hours. The weather in London is cloudy and rainy, with a high of 14 degrees for this afternoon. Relax and enjoy the rest of the flight.

Уважаемые пассажиры, экипаж самолета авиакомпании   «British Airways»  рад приветствовать Вас на борту нашего авиалайнера! Мы совершим полет до Лондона. Желаем Вам приятного  полета! Наш самолёт – на высоте …, скорость …Время полёта -4 часа. Температура за бортом + 14 , облачно и дождливо… ( фоном – мелодия )

 

Look at the map. There you can see Great Britain which consists of 4 parts: Scotland on the north, England on the south, Wales is near England and the small part of the country is Northern Ireland is on the east. All the parts have their capital. England – London. Wales – Cardiff, Scotland – Edinburgh, Northern Ireland –  Belfast. (Работа с картой)

It's a clock in the tower and it is a big bell. You can hear it every hour. (Big Ben)

It is a place where the British Government sits. It is the largest modem building. It consists of three parts: the Royal Apartments, the House of Lords and the House of Commons. ( the House of Parliament)

It is the oldest and famous bridge across the Thames. Originally it was made of wood by the Romans, but it was often burnt down. Later it was made of stone. Finally it was rebuilt and made of concrete. (The Tower Bridge)

 It is the central square of London and traditional place for people to meet: all sorts of protest meetings are held there. The statue of national hero Admiral Nelson stands there.(Trafalgar Square)

It is the national museum of Britain. It has one of the world’s best collections of art (The British museum)

It is the largest park in London, which is famous for its Speaker’s Corner. (Hyde Park)

Well, London is famous all over the world. It is visited by large numbers of tourists every year. Now I want you to be guides. I’ll give you some information, read and translate it and tell. Choose a speaker from your group and an interpreter.

Now let’s listen to some new facts about the most interesting places of London as the capital of Great Britain.

Westminster Abbey is a symbol of English tradition at its best. The coronations of nearly all English kings and queens since William the Conqueror have taken place here. Many of them are buried within the Abbey.
Beneath the roof of this Gothic building there are also the graves and memorial slabs of statesmen, philosophers, men of letters and other distinguished people. Here you can see memorials to Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Geoffrey Chaucer, Alfred Tennyson, Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy.

 

I want to tell you about the city’s greatest monument, St.Paul’s Cathedral was built by Sir Christopher Wren between 1675 and 1710 to replace the old Cathedral that was largely destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666.
Christopher Wren is buried there. Among the many memorials to famous men within the Cathedral are the tombs of Wellington, victor of Waterloo, and Nelson, hero of Trafalgar.

This is Tower Bridge. It was built in 1894. It is next to the Tower of London.

It is one of the famous bridges across the Thames. It’s the only bridge across the Thames which can be lifted. It opens and ships go up and down the river Thames.

The tower of Big Ben is a symbol of London and Britain. The famous clock Big Ben stands near the Houses of Parliament. Big Ben is really a bell. You can hear it every hour. It is a big bell. It weighs about 14000 kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio.
