Учебное задание: написать эссе с аргументами ЗА и ПРОТИВ.

Тема: Мобильные телефоны могут облегчить жизнь учителям и ученикам. Однако, некоторые чувствуют, что они могут быть отвлекающим фактором.

Количество слов: 200 – 250

План:

- вступление (обозначение проблемы);

- выражение личного мнения с 2-3 доводами собственной позиции;

- выражение противоположного мнения с 1-2 доводами противоположной позиции;

- объяснение, почему не согласны с противоположным мнением;

- заключение с повторным выражением собственного мнения.

Nowadays Information Technology is everywhere. Schools are no exception. Hereby, we have to face problems they cause so issue of mobile phones is really relevant. Some people believe that smartphones are blessing for modern society while other think it is handicap.
So who is right?

As for me, I believe that smartphones are really good helpers in schools. To begin with, internet do education faster than learning without IT. It is really important in modern world. And mobile phones are tools for using internet. Furthermore, it make education more comfortable and easier in matters of organisation.What is more, they provide us more information than ever so students have opportunity to be open-minded and have a broad outlook.

However, there exists another point of view on this issue, not everyone can disciple themself and use mobile phones correctly. That is the main problem. Another fact is that phones can be harmful for eyesight.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because schools must educate students how to manage and discipline themselves. So if we always afraid of discipline, how will we teach students to control themselves? Moreover, we should not ignore the fact that there is safe time for smartphones, which it can’t cause eyesight falling. Additionally, the technologies are developing so in the near future we can have mobile phones that don’t harm our health.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the truth is in the middle. We should make up the way to solve problems of discipline and eyesight falling so we can use mobile phones for good. This issue is still to be discussed.

Сначала преподаватель только выделяет слова, словосочетания, в которых допущены ошибки – даёт возможность студенту самому обнаружить неточности. Затем обсуждаются нюансы, таким образом, проверка эссе носит поэтапный характер.
