Видео-поздравление с 8 мартаInternational Women's Day is an important and beloved holiday. March 8 is the day when flower shops empty all over the country at once. On March 8, International Women's Day is celebrated in a number of countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Ukraine, Belarus, Brazil, etc.). Initially, it arose as a solidarity of women who defended their right to be on an equal footing with men, fought against discrimination, various restrictions and social dependence.
The history of the International Women's Day originates in the 20th century. On February 28, 1908, a rally was held in New York with the participation of about 15 thousand women. The initiator of this march was the Social Democratic women's organization. The reason for the rally is the desire of women to get equal rights with men (mainly labor), as well as to have the opportunity to participate in elections.
