Задачи:

повышение интереса обучающихся к изучению английского языка

обобщить знания обучающихся в устной и письменной речи

расширить кругозор обучающихся

формирование уважения и интереса к культуре страны изучаемого языка

Hello, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. I hope you are well.

Today we are going to play a game "The Star Hour". The theme of our game is “Famous People of the World”. Now the participants will introduce themselves. Please, you are welcome.

The rules of the game are following: I will give you different tasks. You should raise the cards with the right answer. For right answers you will get stars. That who will get more stars will be the winner. After every tour one player will leave the game.

Let's start.

The first round is called “Celebrated writers, artists and scientists”.
