Grammar in focus. The Present Perfect tense – Настоящее совершенное время.
1. Kогда мы говорим о действии, которое завершилось, и нам важно действие и его результат в настоящем, а не время, когда оно произошло, то мы используем Present Perfect:
We have raked the leaves in Mrs Welsh`s garden. - Мы сгребли листья в саду миссис Велш. (Неважно, когда дети сгребли листья, важно, что сад убран.)
2. Когда мы говорим о действии, которое завершилось, но период времени, когда оно произошло, еще не истек (today, this week, this month), мы также используем Present Perfect:
What have you done this month? - Что вы сделали в этом месяце?
We`ve helped elderly and lonely people this month. Мы помогали старым и одиноким людям в этом месяце. (Месяц ещё не завершился.)
