Тема: “Language of Birds”
Тип урока: комбинированный
Оборудование: демонстрационный экран, проектор, ноутбук, личные личные iPad обучающихся или сотовые телефоны.

Цель урока: улучить умения говорения, аудирования и чтения (с основным и детальным пониманием) и фиксирования полученных знаний.
–закрепление самостоятельно изученного материала по теме «Present Perfect Progressive (Continuous)»;
– изучение лексических единиц, эквивалентных русскому слову «земля»: land, soil, ground, earth.
Задачи:
1.Учебные: формировать навык использования видо-временной формы глагола The Present Perfect Progressive Tense, тренировать употребления лексических единиц по теме модуля (Module) “Living Things Around Us”, развивать умения аудирования и чтения с различной стратегией.
2.Образовательные: познакомить о с информацией о «языке» птиц.
Развивающие: развивать умение использования приемов смысловой переработки информации: сравнение, анализ, обобщение, логическое мышление, языковую догадку, логическое и критическое мышление
3.Воспитательные: воспитывать любовь к живым существам на планете, обратить внимание на проблему окружающей среды: вырубка тропических лесов.
4.Социокультурная задача: познакомить с национальными символами англо-говорящих стран, содержащими изображения птиц на гербах или флагах

I. Beginning of the Lesson Организационный момент. 1мин

Teacher: – Take your seats, please.
Teacher: – What date is it today?
Pupil.1: – Today is the 25th of January.
Teacher: – What day of the week is it today?
Pupil.1: – Today is Wednesday.
Teacher: – Who is absent today?
Pupil.1: – Nobody is absent today. All are present.
Teacher: – How are you?
Pupil.1: – I`m fine. Thank you. And how are you?
Teacher: – I`m OK. Thank you.
Teacher: – You didn't make a single mistake. I give you a five.
II. Целеполагание. (1 мин).
Включение проектора. Слайд 2.
Teacher: –What do we usually do at the lessons?
Pupil 2: –We listen, read, talk, review the words and write.
Teacher: –Quite right. What can we plan to do today?
Pupil 3: – We shall listen, read, think, talk and write.
Teacher: – We must learn to use Present Perfect Progressive, confusable words earth, ground, land, soil, to listen and to speak about living things around us. Цель урока записывается на доске. Do all tasks. Give your right answers. It helps you to become excellent marks. Выключение проектора.
III. Мотивация к учебной деятельности. Определение темы урока (2 мин)
Teacher: – I want you to guess what we shall talk about. (Включение проектора. Слайд 3. Учащиеся прослушивают пение соловья в течение 1 минуты).
Teacher: – What is it? Does someone want to guess?
Student 1: – It is a bird`s singing.
Teacher: – Whose song is it? A bird may be known by its songs. Видна птица по полету.
Pupil 1: – It is a nightingale` song.
Teacher: – Is singing birds` language?
Pupil 3: – Yes. It is. Singing is a language of birds.
Teacher: – Good for you! You guessed the theme of our lesson -Language of Birds. Выключение проектора. На доску прикрепить картинки птиц
Teacher: – I want to help you during the lesson with some materials. Fill the table in. Here you are. Распечатка слайда 6 для заполнения таблицы.
IV. Phonetic Drill. 3минуты
Teacher: – Listen to English proverb and pronounce it. 1) Work in groups of 3 ore 4 pupils. 2)Let’s do it together! Ready, steady, go! Включение проектора. Слайд 4 (с гиперссылкой).
Teacher: – Give marks each other. All together now. (После прослушивания учащиеся произносят пословицу в группе и оценивают друг друга.). Выключение проектора.
Teacher: – A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Не сули журавля в небе, дай синицу в руки. Ближняя соломка лучше дальнего сенца; синица в руках лучше соловья в лесу.
Teacher: – You’re making progress. You have a good pronunciation. Let me explain what I want you to do next.
V. Reading. Чтение текста. Самостоятельная работа. 3 минуты
Teacher: – Open your books at page 17. Read the text for 3 minutes and say what new information you found in it.
Language of Birds
The song of birds is one of the most wonderful sounds. Probably the best singer is the nightingale. Sometimes when we are out in the country, we hear birds making some sounds and we may think they are telling one another something. The fact is that birds have their own language, just as many other animals do but their language is different from people`s language. We use words and people must know these words, they should learn them. Birds don`t learn their language. They are able to sing, "to talk" because they can make sounds and noises. It is an instinct with them. Let`s take a chick from its parents so that it can`t hear the sounds they make. When the chick grows up, it will still be able to make the same sounds as its parents. But birds can`t learn "other languages". Some birds like parrots, crows, jackdaws are talented imitators. They imitate the speech of people and other animals. A lot of birds can learn other birds` songs. For example, if a canary grows up with a nightingale, it can learn to sing like a nightingale. But this imitation is not a real language. Birds do not talk as we do.
Teacher: – The time is over. Say which of the statements after the text are true.

Teacher: – Yes, you've got it. Let` sum up. The bird is generally thought to symbolize freedom, new life. They are symbols of countries and cities. You should find information in Internet for your projects. You can listen at home a song of Sting with the same name Language of Birds. (Мотивация к поисково- исследовательской деятельности.)

Pupil 6: – Rainforests are tropical forests with tall trees growing thickly together and with a high rainfall. There are many different species of plants and animals. Rainforests are beautiful. You can see here birds, insects, flowers, lianas, plants, tall trees, butterflies and hear: grasshopper’s and birds" chirping, birds" singing. There are a lot of birds, for an example parrots. Rainforests are very important. Save them. Stop cut down rainforests is very necessary.
Teacher: – Excellent. I give you a five.

Teacher: – I think it’s time to relax. Listen and dance.

IX. Consolidation and testing : Present Perfect Progressive 12 минут
Teacher: – You were to watch a video-film at home. (Технология Flipped Class), Нестандартное домашнее заданиеКакое грамматическое время в английском языке используют для того, чтобы подчеркнуть, что то или иное действие происходило какое-то время в прошлом и продолжается в настоящем?
Pupil 7: – В английском языке для этого используют настоящее совершённое продолженное время — present perfect progressive.
Teacher: – По какой формуле образуют настоящее совершенное продолженное время?
Pupil 8: – Оно образуется по формуле have/ has + been +V ing с указателем for, еще употребляется предлог since — «с» (какого-то времени), а также словосочетания all day, all night, all the morning, all the afternoon, all the evening.
Teacher: – Правильно. С каким глагольным временем может ещё употребляться предлог for?
Pupil 9: – Предлог for, который характеризуется как маркер present perfect progressive может встречаться и в предложениях с глаголами в past simple.
Teacher: – You learned it right. На русский язык предложения в этом времени переводятся настоящим временем. It has been snowing since morning. — Снег идёт с утра. Не has been drawing the picture for half a уear.— Он рисует картину полгода. English Grammar is Easy!
