Конспект мероприятия по английскому языку для 5х классов «Образовательная викторина: “We know English”»

Цель: 

- развитие лингвострановедческой компетенции

- развитие чувства толерантности к иноязычной культуре

- развитие умений использования лексических навыков, закрепление основной лексики по теме и умение использовать эту лексику в речи

- разви­тие познавательных способностей, навыков межличност­ного общения

- формирование навыков самоконтроля учащихся

- сопоставление изученного материала по иноязычной культуре и личного опыта учащихся

Планируемые результаты:

Личностные:

- воспитывать интерес к изучению иностранного языка и англоговорящих стран,

- формировать навыки сотрудничества,

- формировать у учащихся навыки учебной деятельнос­ти,

- формировать чувство осознанного патриотизма

Предметные:

- систематизировать знания об англоговорящих странах

- обобщить и расширить лексические знания учащихся по изученному языковому материалу

-совершенствование навыков аудирования и работы с текстом на английском языке

Метапредметные:

- формирование умения оценивать учебные действия в соответствии с поставленной задачей

- активное использование языковых средств для решения коммуникативных задач

-овладение навыками аудирования и восприятия англоязычной речи на слух

- формирование страноведческой компетенции


Материально-техническое обеспечение урока: ПК, интерактивная доска, задания на доске, карточки с заданиями, презентация, материалы для судей


План мероприятия:


I.Организационный этап: приветствие, знакомство с командами, судьями, ведущими:

Teaher: Good afternoon, dear teams, guests and judges! Today we’re having an English game “We know English”. We have 2 teams today, and first of all, I and my helper Elina, would like to meet them. So, the leaders introduce your teams, please…. Now, we’re ready to start our competition. Good luck!

II.Образовательная викторина:

Elina: Задание 1: проверка страноведческих знаний:

The first task: “WE KNOW THE UK”: look at the board and choose the correct answer, put your answers into the table in your papers.

The UK is situated on the British Isles and is made of 4 countries. Here you can see: what are these countries? (Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales)

The capital of the UK is London.

The longest river in the UK is the Severn and the deepest one is the Thames.

Ben Nevis (Scotland) is the highest mountain in the UK.

The UK is a constitutional monarchy with the Queen as the Head of the State.

The most favourite discussing - topic for the British is their weather.

The British are great pet – lovers, almost every English family has at least one pet.

Now, we’re ready to listen to the results.

I’m Mike. I’m twelve and I’m a pupil of the fifth form. I like going to school and especially I like learning English.

I have English on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. English is usually the second lesson. At the English lesson we speak, read and write. We write letters, words, sentences, exercises and dictations.

I usually get up at 7 o’clock and go to bed at 10. I’m very healthy because I always do exercises in the morning and I eat healthy food. I like fruit and vegetables very much. I do training three times a week.

In my free time I usually read books and stories about children, nature and school life and walk with my friends in the park.

I like the proverb, «Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today». So, I try to do everything in time.
