Модуль 1 STRONG TIES «Тесные связи»

Lesson 1 (___)

Тема: Reading skills. Teen activities.

Цели: осваивать во всех видах речевой деятельности новые лексические единицы по теме «Занятия подростков»;

научить спрашивать и отвечать о том, чем нравится и чем не нравится заниматься;

развивать умения во всех видах речевой деятельности;

развивать логическое мышление;

воспитать нравственные ценности и ориентиры;

воспитать личностное самоопределение учащихся в отношении их будущей профессии и их социальной адаптации;

формировать качества гражданина и патриота.

Активная лексика:  Annoying, designer label, hang out, catch a film, do extreme sports, do voluntary work, go clubbing, go for a sporty look, go window shopping, grab a bite, paragliding, surf the Net.

Оборудование: УМК "Spotlight"- 10, под редакцией Ю.Е. Ваулиной, Дж. Дули, аудиодополнение, доска, презентация.

ХОД УРОКА

ПОДГОТОВКА К ВОСПРИЯТИЮ ИНОЯЗЫЧНОЙ РЕЧИ (ОРГАНИЗАЦИОННАЯ ЧАСТЬ УРОКА)

Greeting 1. Беседа.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

 P-s: Good morning, teacher.

 T: I’m glad to see you.

 P-s: We are glad to see you too.

T: Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson. Answer my questions, please. What date is it today?

 P1: Today is ….

Aim 2. Сообщение темы и цели урока.

Учащиеся просматривают название модуля: STRONG TIES «Тесные связи».

T: Before we start pay your attention to the title of the module 1 - Strong ties. It summarises the theme of how we relate to our friends and family, and our relationships with them. Today we’re going to speak about our relationships with friends and relatives, how we relate to our friends and family.

The theme of our lesson today runs as following “Teen activities”. We will speak about different sides of teenagers’ life, concerns and problems you have, about teenage free-time activities. 

Warming-up 3. Введение в иноязычную атмосферу.

T: Sort out entertainment activities given in the box into the corresponding columns of the table below. Note that one and the same activities can have several characteristics and go into more than one column.

ОСНОВНАЯ ЧАСТЬ УРОКА

Presenting 1. Введение нового лексического материала (занятия подростков).

Vocabulary a) Работа над лексикой урока p.10, ex.1.

T: Read through the activities and let’s explain the meaning of any unknown vocabulary.

Записать слова в словарь, отработать произношение.

b) Увеличение объема используемых лексических единиц; развитие навыка оперирования языковыми единицами в коммуникативных целях.

T: Elicit answers to the questions in the rubric. Which of these activities do teens in your country enjoy doing? What about you? Use: most, a few, some, not many.

P: In my country most teens enjoy hanging out with friends, playing computer games, listening to music, and watching DVDs. Some teens enjoy going window shopping and going clubbing but not many enjoy going on trips to the countryside. I enjoy chatting online.

Reading 2. Поисковое и изучающее чтение. Predicting the content of a text. Ex2, p10.

а) Pre-reading. Этап подготовки к чтению.

T: Look at the title and the introduction of the text. What do you think the text is about?

P: I expect to read about what 16-year-olds in different parts of the world do in their free time.

После выполнения задания на доске записаны слова. Учитель просит учащихся объяснить значение  слов без словаря. Запись слов в словарь.

T: Explain the words in the box.

b) Reading. Этап чтения. Учащиеся читают и переводят текст.

T: Read and translate.

с) Post-reading. Этап проверки понимания прочитанного. Ex3, p10.

Учащиеся работают с упражнением 3на стр 10, прослушивая запись текста.

T: Listen to the recoding text and check the answers.

Speaking 3. Развитие умений монологической речи. Conducting an interview. Ex4, p11.

T: Work in pairs. Imagine one of you is a TV reporter interviewing a teenager from the text about what he/she likes doing. The other - he/she is one of the students.

P1: Fiona, could you tell me what you like to do in your free time?

P2: Yes, sure. I love hanging out with my friends and watching comedies on TV.

P2: Yes. I love music.

P1: What type of music do you like?

P2: I love indie bands like the Arctic Monkeys.

P1: And do you like shopping?

P2: Oh no, I can’t stand shopping.

Everyday English 4. Ознакомить учащихся с выражениями предпочтения и неудовольствия. Expressing likes and dislikes. Ex5, p11.

Учащиеся разбирают материал таблицы на стр. 11. Строят самостоятельно выражения предпочтения и неудовольствия.

T: Elicit how someone can express likes or dislikes. Go through the useful language table. Use the language in the box to discuss your likes and dislikes. Use the phrases in Ex.1 ad your own ideas. Act out short exchanges in front of the class.

P1: Do you like doing extreme sports?

P2: I’m crazy about extreme sports. What sort of thing do you like doing?

P1: I love playing computer games.

Revising new 5. Повторение изученных и введение новых слов по теме «Занятия vocabulary подростков».

T: Match the words. Then use the phrases to complete the sentences below.

Homework 1. Домашнее задание.

T: Open your diaries, please, and write down your home task: Письменно выполнить упр.6 на стр.11. Прочитать и устно перевести упр.3 на стр.12. Выучить новые слова. Записать в словарь ЛЕ упр.2 на стр.12.

Summarizing 2. Подведение итогов урока.

Учащиеся выполняют упр.7 на стр.11.
