Конспект внеклассного мероприятия на английском языке для 5-6 классов на тему «Трагическая история моей страны»

Тема: Трагическая история моей страны

Цель: познакомиться с новыми фактами о Великой Отечественной войне и систематизировать базовые знания обучающихся о трагической истории нашей страны

Задачи:

Образовательная:

- совершенствование навыков аудирования, чтения;

- совершенствование лексических навыков.

Развивающая:

- повышение уровня мотивации к изучению английского языка;

- развитие воображения и логического мышления

- расширение кругозора учащихся.

Воспитательная:

- привитие любви и уважения к родному краю, истории своей родины;

- формирование умения работать в команде;

- воспитание дружеского отношения между участниками команды.

Форма: викторина

Оборудование: презентация, проектор, компьютер, карточки с буквами (A, B, C, D), раздаточный материал

Практическая значимость:

Предлагаемый материал может быть полезен учителям английского языка для организации внеурочной деятельности в рамках недели английского языка, посвященной году Памяти и Славы в России. Мероприятие (с использованием ИКТ) в доступной и увлекательной форме позволяет реализовать интеллектуальный потенциал обучающихся, воспитывает чувство сопричастности к истории своей страны, умения работать в коллективе, а также способствует повышению мотивации детей к изучению английского языка. 

Ход мероприятия

The tragic history of my country…

Good afternoon, children. Today we have an unusual lesson. You know this year is very important for our country. Why is it important? (ответы учащихся)You are right. We celebrate Victory Day. 75 years ago the terrible war stopped. Many people died. Every family keeps the facts about their relatives who took part in that war. We all must remember our past and have respect for its participants. Our class today is “The tragic history of my country”. Let’s remember it all together.

We have a competition. There are four teams today. Do the tasks and get some scores for your activity. Work together with your groups. I wish everybody good luck!

Our Hero

Uglovsky Anatoly Efimovich was born in 1923 in the village Luzhenitsa, Veliky Ustug district. He went to school in another village Peganovo. He finished seven classes there. After school he went to college. In 1942 he went to army.

On December 20, 1943his division was not far from Vitebsk. It is a famous city in Belarus. Anatoly Uglovsky took part in an important battle. His division had to stop the German tanks attack and free Vitebsk.

Anatoly first helped a soldier in the battle when the man was under one of the German tanks. Uglovsky fired the machine and it stopped. Soon the hero was wounded but he could fire two more tanks. When there were no cartridges in his weapon, he took grenades and walked to the coming tank. He stopped it but the fascists killed him from the machine gun. After his death his division won the battle.

On July 4, 1944 Anatoly Efimovich Uglovsky was awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously.
