Разработка внеурочного мероприятия по английскому языку.

«День Земли»

Цель:

• Формировать экологическую культуру личности ребенка, развивать эмоциональное восприятие окружающего мира.
• Воспитывать любовь к родной природе.

Задачи:

• расширение и углубление лексических знаний учащихся по теме;
• формирование доброжелательного и эмоционально-положительного отношения к природе;
• формирование у детей экологического сознания и соответствующих ценностных ориентаций;
• стимулирование интереса учащихся к изучению предмета.

Дата проведения:22.04.22

Продолжительность: 40 мин

Форма проведения: игра-викторина.

Оснащение: карточки с названиями мест обитания, иллюстрации по теме, ватманы, клей, проектор, аудио проигрыватель.

Организационный момент. (Organization moment).

The teacher: Hello, guys! I’m friend of the Earth. Would you like to be the friends of the Earth? If you solve my puzzle I’ll tell you about this holiday.

(The children do the puzzle and guess the main words)

We live on this planet (Earth)

H2O means (water)

Opposite of dirty (clean)

A colour of grass (green)

It gives us light and warmth (sun)

Large grouping of trees (forest)

We need this to breath (air)

The purpose of Earth Day.

What is the purpose of Earth Day? How did it start?

Earth Day is a very special day celebrated across the entire planet. On this day, people think about the importance of the global environment, and all Earth Day is also the time to remember that we share the Earth, our home, with millions of other plants and animals. And because so many people care about nature and the environment.

What do you know about our planet? What animals and plants do exist on the Earth? (The children answer). Let’s play in “Floras and fauns”. I’ll say to you different names of animals and plants and you must choose the card with their habitat. On the table there are cards with names of floras and fauns: water, earth, air, forest.

Do you know that there are two Earth Days?

The United Nations celebrates Earth Day each year around March 20 when spring officially arrives. This tradition was founded by peace activist John McConnell in 1969.

The second Earth Day is celebrated on April 22. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970. Now this holiday is popular in many countries of the world.

Making posters.

Now I offer you to make your own posters for protecting our Earth. Let’s think, what can you do for it. You can see on the blackboard parts of different actions to protecting our planet. You should match the beginnings of these phrase with their endings and the following pictures. Then you should stick them on your poster.

Don’t throw the rubbish.
