Let's listen to a song and try to guess what the topic of our lesson is. What is the song about? Holidays. This is the topic of our lesson today.

Yesterday I got a letter from a boy whose name is Steve. He asks you to help him. Let's read his letter.

Can you help Steve? Will you tell him about the British Holidays?

1. To achieve this goal, I advise you to watch a video. It will help you to revise the all the material we learnt at the previous lessons.

Be ready to answer my question - What holidays are mentioned in the video?

2. The next task for you is the reading task. Раздаю карточки с текстом. По вот этим подсказкам. В зависимости от того, какая группа первая догадалась, о каком празднике будет текст.

Объясняю задание- прочитать и заполнить пропуски подходящими словами. Работают в парах.

Взаимопроверка. Проверяют друг друга парами в группе.

Фронтальная проверка на доске. Текст с заполненными пропусками. Группа читает и переводит текст о своем празднике.

After that you will tell us about the British festivals. And I will send all your stories to Steve, the boy from Paris.
