Тема: «Natural Disasters».

 Природные бедствия

Цели урока:

Образовательная: совершенствовать лексику по теме «Стихийные бедствия», формировать коммуникативную культуру школьников, тренировать учащихся в говорении, чтении, письме.

Развивающая: создавать условия для развития памяти, лексических и коммуникативных навыков, формировать мотивацию у школьников к изучению иностранного языка, умение получать информацию из учебника.

Воспитательная: формировать системное представление учащихся о стихийных бедствиях, выявить наиболее важное и характерное.

Языковой материал: лексические единицы по теме стихийные бедствия.

Необходимое оборудование и материалы: учебник, компьютер, презентация по теме.

Ход урока

1.Организационный момент.

Good afternoon, children. I’m glad to see you. How are you today?

What is the weather like today?

What is the weather forecast for today?

Listen to the definition and say what it is.

1.It is the mountain with a hole at the top. (volcano)

3.They happen after a heavy rain. (flood)

4.This flash of light is a big killer. (Lightning)

2.Речевая разминка.

Task: Match the English proverbs and statements with the Russian equivalents.

There’s no bad weather, there are bad clothes. Плохой погоды нет, есть плохая одежда.
