“Music Show”

Цель: обогатить словарный запас по теме «Музыка», совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи, а также навыки аудирования.

Образовательные задачи:

Активизация употребления лексики по теме «Музыка»;

Формирование умений в использовании речевых стратегий в монологических высказываниях;   

Расширение словарного  запаса, развитие навыков сотрудничества через работу в паре и группах, обучение анализировать и обобщать материал, делать выводы.  

Развивающие задачи:

Развитие внимания, памяти, воображения;

Развитие способности к догадке, гибкости и логичности ума, коммуникабельности, способности осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные действия;

Расширение кругозора.

Воспитательные задачи:

Формировать уважения к культуре других народов и культуре своей страны;

Воспитать чувства ответственности перед своими одноклассниками;

Способствовать развитию у учащихся умение участвовать в диалоге и умения слушать.

Оборудование:

Билеты для гостей и участников шоу, карточки для ведущего, карточки с заданиями, записи разных стилей музыки, портрет Л. Армстронга, тексты, презентация, музыкальное сопровождение, жетоны.

Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

Форма урока: Урок-шоу

Ход мероприятия:

Teacher: Good day everybody! We are going to talk about music. We can hear it everywhere: in the parks, in the streets, in the shops, in the transport, over the radio or on TV. And today we are in the TV studio. Let’s meet our host Mr. Jimmy Coyle!

(Cheers and Applause)

TV presenter: Hello everybody! Welcome to our Music show! And today we are having a special guest. It’s a popular music blogger. Please Welcome Brian Grey! So, ask him as many questions as you can.

Pupils ask questions.

What sort of music do you like?

What is your favourite band?

Where do you like listening to music?

Can you sing?

Can you play any musical instruments?

Do you fancy going to concert?

TV presenter: Thank you for your questions. And now we start playing one of your favourite games “Name the song Challenge”. Are you ready? Let’s start!

(Cheers and applause)

Звучат отрывки песен, и участники шоу (учащиеся) должны догадаться, имя исполнителя или название песни. За каждый правильный ответ, участники шоу получают жетон.

TV presenter: Now, Mr. Grey! Listen to the music and guess who the performer is.

Звучит мелодия Луи Армстронга “What a wonderful world”.

That’s right. And now, dear guests, look at the screen you can see the lyrics of the famous song “What a wonderful World” and you have to listen to the song and fill in the words. Take a piece of paper and do the task.

Все отдают на проверку лист с выполненным заданием. Участники должны послушать песню, на экране текст песни и на руках лист с пропущенными словами.

TV presenter: Great! We’ll check it now!

TV presenter: Welcome back to the Music show! I’m here and we are about to play the games but first, we are going to need some players.

Выходят две команды участников.

TV presenter: Please welcome “Stars” and “Street performers”

The first challenge “Musical Genre Challenge”. You have to name as many music styles as you can.

Первый конкурс «Назови музыкальный жанр»- участники должны по очереди назвать как можно больше музыкальных жанров.

(Rap, hip-hop, soul, electro, reggae, heavy metal, pop, classical, folk, country, jazz, blues, disco, Broadway musical, opera, Rock’n’roll, rock...)

The second challenge is to name as many adjectives as you can.

Во втором конкурсе участники должны назвать прилагательные, которые описывают чувства и эмоции при прослушивании музыки.

(Powerful, exciting melancholy, unforgettable, sentimental, romantic, soft, relaxing, breathtaking, boring, moving, catching, satisfying, sweet...)

The third challenge is to match the words to their Russian equivalents.

Третий конкурс – участники должны найти эквиваленты соответствующие русскому языку.

TV presenter: Nice job! You were amazing! And now look at the screen and sing a song! It’s Karaoke Challenge!

Команды выбирают песню и поют по очереди. Зрители должны аплодисментами определить, чья команда была лучше.

Let me see and count the tokens you got on our show, so you’ll get a special prize for it.
