Тема: «Страны и языки»

Задачи: Развивать навыки и умения аудирования, устной речи, чтения, письменной речи. Повторить случаи употребления артиклей a (the), названия стран, языков, жителей, наций. Практиковать учащихся в устной речи (монологической и диалогической), в употреблении артиклей, в употреблении в речи названий стран, языков, национальностей. Развивать у учащихся коммуникативные умения и навыки (в процессе общения), внимание, память, самоконтроль и самооценку. Воспитывать речевую культуру, сознательную дисциплину, стремление к самосовершенствованию, положительное отношение к иностранному языку (как к средству общения, взаимопонимания людей).

Оборудование: учебник “ Happy English 7” К.И.Кауфман, М.Ю. Кауфман, рабочая тетрадь к учебнику, карточки с заданиями, таблица (артикли), аудиозапись.

Организационный момент.

T: Good afternoon!

T: Take your places, please. Who is on duty today?

Представление темы урока. Целеполагание.

T: The title of our lesson is “The Article”. At this lesson we shall revise grammar rules (usage of articles a and the, no article). We’ll do some exercises in your text-books, also we’ll revise the names of countries, languages, persons and nations. You will act out dialogues.

T: Imagine that you come from one of the foreign countries. Introduce yourself. Say what language(s) people speak in your country.

For example, I’m from Finland. In Finland people speak Finnish.

T: Let’s play a game “The world Teenager’s Competition”

You are the participants of the World Teenager’s Competition “We live on the same planet” You don’t know each other. You come from different countries, but you know English – the language of international communication. You must make the acquaintance of each other (get to know each other). Ill give you cards with your legends.

Учащиеся получают карточки с легендами и разыгрывают диалог:

P1: Hello! What’s your name?

P2: Hi! My name is David. What’s your name?

P1: My name is Angela. Where are you from?

P2: I’m from America. Where are you from?

P1: I’m from Italy. Are you an American?

P2: Yes, I am. Are you an Italian?

P2: I speak American (English). What language do you speak?

P2:What’s your hobby?

P1: My hobby is music. And what’s your hobby?

P2: My hobby is collecting stamps.

Практика письменной речи.

T: Open your text books at page 10 Ex. 8. Complete the sentences. Change your copybooks and check it up. Put down marks. (учащиеся выполняют упр.10 стр. 8; проверяют по ключу).

Do exercise in your copybooks. Use the, a , - (no article).

(учащиеся выполняют задания по карточкам; проверяют по ключу).
