I.Создание атмосферы иноязычного общения.

1.Орг. момент

   Good morning, children!

 I am glad to see you too.

Will you sit down, please.

   Firstly, will you answer my questions.

2. Речевая зарядка

v  What date is it today?

v  What day is it today?

v  What is the weather like today?

v  What season is it now?

v  What month is it now?

Thank you very much.

3. Фонетическая зарядка

       Now you look at the blackboard. There is a poem about mouse. I will read it for you.

Hickory, dickory, dock,
The mouse ran up the clock.
The clock struck one,
The mouse ran down,
Hickory, dickory, dock.

Let’s translate this poem. But it is literary translation.

Хикори, дикори, док.
Мышь на будильник скок!
Будильник – бом – бом!
Мышка бегом!
Хикори, дикори, док.

II.Показ функционирования и использования усваиваемого материала.

1. Закрепление лексических единиц по теме «Время»

      How many minutes are there in half an hour?

      How many minutes are there in a quarter?

      How many hours are there in 1 day?

o   It’s half past eight.

o   It’s a quarter past ten.

o   It’s a quarter to seven.

o   It’s a quarter past two.

2.Выполнение тренировочных упражнений

1.What time is it? Tell  the answer.

2. What time is it? Choose the right answer.

3.Выполнение проверочного упражнения

   Now will you listen to the phone call. Say at what time Mag will come home. It is ex.40.

(At half past two.)

4. Динамическая пауза

   Let us have a rest. Will you stand up, please.

You will see the boy on the screen. He will show you the actions and you will repeat them. Of course, you should also sing song at the same time.“Head, shoulders, knees and toes”. Thank you! Sit down, please.

III. Управление тренировкой в овладении материалом

1.Работа с текстом

  Will you open your books at p.79 ex.42. It is the text.

Your task is to read, translate it and put the verbs in brackets in the correct form – II form.

Let us start reading.

2. Послетекстовый этап

 Find ex.43 at the same page.

You should choose the title for the story.

§  All Is Well that Ends Well. (Все хорошо, что хорошо кончается.)

§  Why Do Cats Wash after Dinner?

§  The Smart Bird.

Next ex. 44. Your task is to find out who said:

1) "Now I can have breakfast."

2) "You can't have breakfast now."

3) "The farmer and his family always wash their hands

before  breakfast."

4) "I live with the farmer's family and I must do what

they do."

5) "I must wash, but I must wash after dinner."

At the bottom of the page you have ex.45. You should answer the why-questions:

1) Why did the Bird fly to a house?

2) Why did the grey Cat catch the Bird?

3) Why did the grey Cat begin to wash?

4) Why didn't the grey Cat find the Bird?

5) Why did the grey Cat say, "I must wash after

dinner? "

4.Повторение форм неправильных глаголов

It is time to revise the irregular verbs.

There is a box. Your task is to come out to the

blackboard, take the piece of paper and read the irregular verb in Russian, then tell three forms of it in English.

5.Домашнее задание

Your homework for the next lesson is p.83 ex.9,10 in your books; you should revise irregular verbs.
