Конспект урока по английскому языку в 5 классе «Урок-презентация» на тему «World Animals»

Тема: World Animals

Цель урока: формирование англоязычной коммуникативной компетенции.

Задачи:

Образовательная:

- закрепить лексические единицы по теме «Мир животных» во всех видах речевой деятельности;

- учиться рассказывать о жизни животных и насекомых, домашних питомцев;

- учиться описывать диких животных и питомцев;

- усвоить формообразование и использование глаголов в 3-м лице ед. ч. в Present Simple в связной речи, вспомогательные глаголы do/does (отрицательная и вопросительная формы и краткие ответы).

Развивающая:

- развивать навыки и умения во всех видах речевой деятельности;

- развивать умение запоминать лексические единицы;

- развивать умения, составляющие лингвистическую компетенцию: сопоставление языковых явлений в изучаемом и родном языках;

Воспитывающая:

- воспитывать любовь и уважительное отношение к животным;

- прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку.

Оборудование: карточки с изображением животных, интерактивная доска.

Приветствие. Сообщение темы урока.

Good day boys and girls (слайд 1). Today we will continue to speak about “Animals’ world”. Animals play important role in our life. We will remember the name of the animals; parts of the body; we will answer the questions and do some exercises with Present Simple.

Dear children, look at the blackboard and read the poem (слайд 2).

Чтение “My dream” сначала учителем, затем - учениками.

I love all kinds of animals
Dogs and cats and rabbits.

If I had a tons of money,
Do you know what I would do?
I would buy lots of animals
And have my own zoo.

But they wouldn’t be in cages,
They would be free to run around.
And there’s one thing they would feel
And that is safe and sound.

Лексическая зарядка.

- You know names of the animals, their habits and what do they like to eat or to do. Now I’ll show you cards and your task is will be to name the animals. Who is it? Учитель показывает картинки различных животных (слайд 3).

- I will tell you about animals and you should guess (слайд 4).

- It’s very long and it can be black, brown, white or yellow. It’s very dangerous. (cobra)

- It’s very big and tall (2 – 3 meters). Indian people use these animals to carry heavy things with their long trunks. (elephant)

- This insect is red and black. It has black spot on its back. (ladybird)

- Which of Indian animals has only one horn? It likes to sit in water or mud. (rhino)

- It is a pet. It’s very clever. It has got four short legs. And this animal is our best friend. (dog)

- They have two pairs of wings, a proboscis which helps them drink the nectar from the flowers. (bees)

- It has got a long neck, two ears and a tail. (giraffe)

- It is a dangerous wild animal. It has got four short legs, red fur and clever eyes. (fox)

- It lives in Africa. It’s big and has great beautiful mane. (lion)

- Let’s check your homework. Work in pairs. Tell each other about your favourite animal. Describe it.

- Let’s have a rest!
I’ll say you verbs now and you will do different actions.

Stand up, go, run, jump, swim, fly, climb, play football, sit down, ride a bike, play the piano, close your eyes, sleep, wake up! 

Повторение грамматики. Present Simple

- Before to do next task let’s remember grammar rules. Look at the screen! The Present Indefinite is formed from the stem of the verb. In the third person singular it has the suffix -s/-es/y→i+es (слайд 5).

Упражнения на закрепление Present Simple (слайд 6).

1. Write the third person singular of the Present Simple of the verbs below: swim, do, obey, speak, play, carry, use, run, keep, sleep, have.

2. Put the verbs into the correct form

Lions … (run) very fast.

The Indian Rhino … (have) one horn.

Monkeys … (like) bananas.

The Indian Elephant … (carry) heavy things with their trunks.

Crocodiles … (swim) in rivers.

(Слайд 7) Учащиеся вместе с учителем разбирают ответы на экране и сравнивают со своими ответами, написанными в тетрадях.

Повторение и обобщение формообразования и употребления глаголов в Present Simple (утвердительная, отрицательная и вопросительная формы) (слайд 8)

- Now let’s write negative and interrogative forms with short answers of the Present Simple Tense. Look at the screen (cлайд 9). What do we use to form these forms? (Вспомогательные глаголы do/does). Отработка употребления вопросительной и отрицательной формы в Present Simple

Учащиеся совместно сравнивают ответы на экране со своими ответами в тетрадях (слайд 10).

Подведение итогов.

- Thank you for your work. You were very active! Your marks are … . Our lesson is over. See you.
